Gamajakushi is a frog/boiler-themed member of Sargain's Ninja Corps and the main antagonist in episode 8 of 2002 TV series called Nipu Sentai Hurricaneger.

He was voiced by Kyuji Aosora. He was portrayed by suit actor Kōji Mimura.

History

Gamajakushi made his first appearance on planet Earth as he was seen in a pipe dam and then leapt out of his hiding place and then used his ability and fired all of the tadpoles to every water source on the planet and then use this technique as the robotic tadpoles began absorbing all of the water starting with the lake.

A while later he arrived at the beach where the Hurricaneger were about to convince the Gouraigers to work together as a team, but this toad interrupts them in the process. So with that the team transformed and were about to battle Gamajakushi, but he used this ability and fire a ball and chain as he trapped the trio and then he used his other technique as he sent flying in the air and crashes the trio down to the water below. So to this response they leaped and fired a couple of shurikens at Gamajakushi, but he teleported out of the way and then he fired more of his robotic tadpoles at the team as it explodes on contact.

After the break the trio were getting there butts kicked by Gamajakushi as he jumped on top of them. So with that Gouraigers comes in to aid the trio as the brother duo battles against Gamajakushi. During the fight Gamajakushi fires another of robotic tadpoles at the duo, but they pull out some shields to block the attack. After that they pull out they're own gadgets as they tossed and blast the froggy ninja. After that Gamajakushi is was then brought down for the count by their Double Connection Double Gadget.

However thanks to Wendinu she summons a Copy Giant as it becomes Gamajakushi so with that our ninja trio summons the Karakuri Giant Senpuujin to battle this giant toad. Now during the giant battle Gamajakushi fires more and more robotic tadpoles at Senpuujin, but thanks to Oboro the ninja trio were able to combine the Goat Crusher and Tortoise Hammer into a Goat Hammer as they easily deflect the continuous barrage of robotic tadpoles that were fired by Gamajakushi. After that he was then destroyed by this finisher called Goat Hammer Hurricane Comet.

Personality

Gamajakushi was an arrogant and prideful alien frog who was loyal to Jakanja and will stop at nothing to destroy the Hurricanegers and invoke the Evil Will in order for his master Tau Zant to use this evil entity to destroy and recreate the universe under his control. Overall, Gamajakushi's personality was nothing different than personalities of other Jakanja monsters, especially in terms of battle, because he enjoyed toyingaround with his enemies during the battle.

Powers and Abilities

• Teleportation: Gamajakushi can teleport to any location.
• Mouth Gravity Bomb and Chain Wrap: He can fire purple and turquoise energy blasts from his mouth that can wrap his targets in a chain with a bomb attached to it, before levitating them and tossing them aside, which causes the bomb to explode.
• Eye Lasers: Gamajakushi can fire powerful light orange-yellow energy lasers from his eyes.
• Polytron Spit: Gamajakushi's signature attack where he can fire out small tadpole robots called Polytrons from his mouth.
  • Polytron Activation: Gamajakushi can activate his Polytrons by flashing his eyes red-orange, allowing them to use the following abilities:
    • Water Absorption: The Polytrons can absorb water.
    • Explosion: The Polytrons can explode upon contact with the enemies on command similar to that of a bomb.
    • Dehydration: The Polytrons can also stick on and dehydrate the victim upon contact as well.
• Superhuman Strength: Despite his appearance, he is strong enough to overpower the Hurricanegers.
• Extraordinary Leaper and Jumper: Being a frog-type monster, Gamajakushi can leap at far distance and jump at far heights.

• Tube Claws: Gamajakushi has tube-like appendages for claws on his hands to fight his opponents with.

Trivia

• He was designed by Keiichi Sato.
• His name is a portmanteau of "gamagaeru" (toad) and "otamajakushi" (tadpole).
• Water Absorbing Ninja Gamajakushi was the first monster in Hurricaneger to speak upon growing; all previous monsters yell or have Wendinu speak over their growth shots.
