Gambler Velito is an octopus/lobster-themed mutant and the main antagonist in episode 13 of 2000 TV series called Mirai Sentai Timeranger.
He is voiced by Tetsuo Mizutori.
History[]
He was a small alien with a robotic and mechanical exosuit who was sentenced to 20 years in confinement for opening illegal casinos. However during the present he disguised himself as a fight club owner who would fix the fights to win gambling bets and down that is disguised as a referee that would be he his exosuit who takes the advantage of the losing customers. The Timerangers found out by accident, while hired to look for Shinji Ozaki, who was a victim of Velito's deception. Now you may wondering what will happen to the losing customers who lost the bet simple really they put them in a fight with other fighters.
Now according to Shinji Ozaki when he made a bet against the owner of this here fighting club the owner has cheated him out of his money for who knows how long so with that he passed out and Tatsuya takes his place as the red fighter.
Now during the operation of flushing out the criminal the Timeranger manages to win every bet against the fighter that Velito hands out for black. With every fighter are down and out Yuri who gambles for Tatsuya she met the gambler himself who hid himself under the hood while his exosuit (played by Diamond Katsuta) going to do match between the final fighter and Tatsuya. Tatsuya has figure out the trickery and attacks the referee revealing himself as the suit while criminal is revealed too as well. So with him being flushed out the Timerangers battle this criminal in his exosuit.
Now during the fight in the warehouse he latches out a couple of tentacles at the team only for TimeRed to use Vector Hurry and chopped them off. He tried to used Vector Hurry on the alien, but he detaches himself from the suit to avoid the attack he manages to land some decent hits on to the team only for him to be shot down by Volsniper. After that he was then recaptured by this finisher called Press Refreezer.
However not before long after his recaptured he manages to set his exosuit on autopilot as it manages to remove the seal patch that's been located on its Left Claw to enlarge itself prompting the team to bring out TimeRobo Beta as it began to battle the robotic suit. After that it was then destroyed by this finisher called Flyer Magnum Maximum Output.
