Gang Doubler (ギャングダブラー Gyangu Daburā) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Gavan who appears in episode 38. He is a Doubler who helps Makuu in stealing the Sun Sword from the local authorities to be put on display on Yokohama and hijacking the kindergarten school bus full of children and a teacher inside to held them hostage in exchange for the sword.
He is voiced by late Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Shine in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Führer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle V, and Lu-Long, Parchis, Demost and Silver Shark in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya.
Biography[]
In order to steal the Sun Sword from the local authorities, the Gang Doubler lead the Crushers in attacking them all to get what they want until Retsu later arrived to stop them from doing so. The Doubler went to attack Retsu from behind before throwing themselves out of the latter's red Suzuki Jimny. After Retsu transformed into Gavan, the Doubler went to retreat to hijack the kindergarten school bus after Gavan fired Silver Beam at him. The Doubler then taking the children and the teacher to a warehouse before one of the kids named Kazuko Notake accidentally leaving her name tag behind, allowing Gavan to easily find them with Gas Sensor.
After both Doubler and Double Girl meet up with the policemen on the road, the Gang Doubler later brutally shoved the policemen aside so he could hijack the truck where the Sun Sword was inside the back of the truck. After Gavan managed to reach to the kindergarten bus and saving the children and the teacher from being blown up by a time bomb, he managed to stop the Doubler from getting away with a sword before they fought.
After they're dragged into Makuu Space, Gavan is struggled to fight against the Doubler as he was being attacked by his magnets since his combat suit was obviously made of metal. He later leads the fighters to fire on Gavan, which the latter had to call upon Dol and Gravion for backup. Finally, Gavan finished off the Doubler with Gavan Dynamic.
