~ Gargouille to Leo´s Team |
The Gargouille is an antagonist in Legend Quest: Masters of Myths. She is a gargoyle-like beast with humanoid facets, feared for many centuries by the citizens of Paris. Finally escaping from the catacombs to the outside where, without being seen by anyone, steal the most precious objects in Paris and flood the places where she raided.
She was voiced by Rebeca Patiño in Spanish and Carol Bach in English.
Appearance[]
She is a tall, thin, anthropomorphic creature with both reptilian and amphibian features. She has a somewhat wide face with a prominent snout with cylinder-shaped formations, black lips, and her "ears" are elongated, hardened scales of dark gray and red. She has a prominence or "horn" in the center that is pale blue. Her eyebrows are large and dark gray, but her eyes have no pupils or irises and are equally pale in tone. In these, they have irregular black eyeliners, resembling eyelashes. Her teeth have sharp canines. On the chest, she has a set of hardened and pointed dark gray scales, which connect to its gray and red wings and a "fang" style spike on each one. Her scales are mostly pale blue, having enormous dark gray claws, and at the tips of them, they have a paler tone. On each knee, she has a pale white-blue "fang"-like formation. Her webbed feet are similar to those of an amphibian, with a red hue between the toes. She has an elongated tail with pointed scales that range from light blue to reddish.
Personality[]
Although she tends to have a temper worthy of a monster, she is actually polite and likes to adopt manners. In addition, she is usually a creature that values things quite a bit, hating the idea of destroying or returning them.
Powers and Abilities[]
As a dragon-like creature, she'd naturally be able to do this. Instead of being able to breathe fire from her mouth (like in the real-life legend), this dragon does a weaponized form of Spit Take, shooting water from her mouth.
She believes herself to be well mannered compared to humans, but she has a tendency to be rude herself, especially when she gets angry. Wrath And Pride. As shown when both Leo rallies both his and Marcella's teams to start breaking stuff.

Having escaped from the catacombs, Gargouille came to the surface: initiating a wave of looting of all museums, libraries and antiquaries, stealing the most significant possessions in Paris. All the places that were stolen were flooded with water. Livre, was one of the witnesses who saw the flying creature enter his library; attacking him and flooding the entire compound before leaving.
A few days later, The Team Legend came to Paris with the purpose of finding Godofredo's diary so they went to investigate the library of the last victim affected by the beast, Livre, who had told them that he used to have said diary but that it disappeared along with the rest of his books because of Gargouille, explaining about his attacks and where he was going. A minutes later after entering the sewers, the team accidentally enters a secret passage that leads them to a lagoon being ambushed by Gargouille who takes them for thieves, creating a whirlpool and sending them to the catacombs maze. After a brief narration of the creature by Don Andrés; and go through the endless corridors of the maze; they finally find Gargouille's lair to which she is challenged by Don Andrés to a duel of sophistication.

Without finding a way to defeat the monster Leo resorts to breaking all the things that she stole, (including her book on cooking cats), causing her sense of the material to be susceptible and she falls heartbroken, being locked in the "magic rune" by Marcela.
