Gary (surname unknown) is a minor antagonist in the 2000 crime film Eye of the Beholder. Gary is a drug addict and attempts to rape main antagonist Joanna Eris, only to be beaten by anti-hero Stephen Wilson to stop the rape attempt.
He was portrayed by Jason Priestley, who also portrayed Jack Harper in Tru Calling.
Biography[]
Gary picks up Eris when her car breaks down while on the run. After drinking and darts, not noticing Eris picked Gary as her next victim as a serial killer, the two go back to the latter's place, with Wilson in tow in secrecy, having been stalking Eris for years. When Gary starts trying to make passes at Eris and Eris pushes Gary away, Gary beats her and drugs her with heroin to knock her out, killing her unborn child and climbing on top of her to try and rape her while she's unconscious. Before Eris can be raped, however, Wilson barges in and beats Gary within an inch, taking Eris away to rescue her. She mourns the loss of her baby and flees to Alaska with Wilson following her. It's unknown what happens to Gary as that's the last time the character's seen in the film.
