Gary is an antagonist in the third season, appearing as the main antagonist of episode "Mac Is a Serial Killer" in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He works at a hardware store, but in reality, he is a serial killer who terrorizing young blonde women.

He was portrayed by Bill Chott.

History

Gary lived in the same apartment building as Dee and would sometimes ask her to water his plants, possibly trying to lure her into a trap. He also works at an unnamed hardware store where Dee would use him to steal supplies.

For unknown reasons, he became a serial killer who likes to keep heads of young women in his fridge. When Frank was reading a newspaper, it said that he targets young attractive blondes. Given his victims are female blondes, it could be his frustration with Dee for failing to become romantically involved with her, which is also explained why he always ask her to water his plants. Furthermore, Dee's laziness has possibly save her from Gary's trap from watering his plants, escaped becoming another victim of his.

After the gang finding out why Mac been acting strange, Charlie decides to celebrate his victory as a "lawyer" and opening Gary's fridge to get some beer, only to find severed heads. Realizing that they are in the killer's apartment, Gary enters and Frank fires up his chainsaw, leaving Gary's fate unknown.
