Gary Natwick, later known as G'Garaur, is the main antagonist of the 2024 fantasy comedy film Harold and the Purple Crayon, which is based on the 1955 children's book of the same name.
He is the writer of a failed fantasy novel known as The Glaive of G’Garaur. After getting a hold of Harold's Purple Crayon, he uses it to make his fictional world a reality and plans to get revenge on everyone else who rejected him by turning himself into his warrior character. He is also Harold Johnson's arch-nemesis.
He was portrayed by Jemaine Clement, who also played Boris the Animal in Men in Black 3, Fleshlumpeater in The BFG, Tamatoa in Moana, Nigel in Rio, Sauron in The LEGO Batman Movie, Vladislav the Poker in What We Do in the Shadows, Fart in Rick and Morty, Vic Diamond in Thelma the Unicorn and Ziggy the Garbage King in Regular Show.
