Gashadoukuro is the son of Daimaou, the acting leader of the Youkai Army Corps one of the most powerful Yokai of all and the secondary antagonist of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. He initially served as the hidden puppet master of the season before revealing himself and being the main antagonist between episodes 16 and 31.
He is played and voiced by Kenichi Endo who also later voiced Algolian Volka in Tokuso Sentai Dekaranger. During his musical performance in episode 23, Endō is dubbed over by Hirokazu Umeda who sung the theme song of Gosei Sentai Dairanger.

Past[]
Gashadokuro first came to be when humanity's negative emotions physically manifested and formed thier own group under the leadership of the most powerful of thier kind; Daimaou. Gashadokuro was the son of Daimaou and the nephew of Daidarabotchi and Yama-uba. Gashadakuro was among the Yokai who managed to avoid being sealed behind the Seal Door by the Ancient Kakurangers but was reduced to a human form when the Yo Power was sealed with Daimaou.
Kakuranger[]
By 1994, Gashadokuro has evolved into a camouflaged soldier-themed Yokai obsessed with punk rock by the time that the Yo Power is released by Kappa. Since Daimaou is still sealed due to needing an entire ritual though, Junior takes up residence in a mansion and assumes control of the Yokai in his father's absence. In spite of having a leader, many of the early Yokai are initially independent and self-governing with thier own individual goals whilst Junior watches from the sidelines.
Junior first appears rocking out in the Youkai Mansion before rescuing the independent Youkai Kaukegen from the Beast General Fighters. However, he berates the Youkai for being pathetic before dragging them to Professor Yugami to make him stronger. After the death of Keukegen, Junior begins to treat the Kakurangers as a credible threat and decides to deal with them quickly. As such, he goes into the Youkai Mansion's dungeons and promises the imprisoned Shuten Douji Brothers thier freedom if they can kill the Kakurangers. To aid them, he sends the Flowery Kunochi Team to help them in the Wandering Forest. Even when they are defeated, Junior doesn’t care much since they are two of many powerful Youkai and he has many more powerful Youkai.
Junior later learns of Zashiki-warashi’s reluctance to fight the Kakurangers and attacks him with Dorodoros are retribution. However, the Kakurangers (who had been following Zashiki-warashi after discovering his true nature) appear and defend him much to Junior’s surprise. Frustrated at his failure, and heavily outnumbered, he decides to pull back but swears that he will get Zashiki-warashi anyway. He later attacks and captures the Kakurangers, forcing Zashiki-warashi to surrender to him in exchange for thier freedom. Gashadokuro soon turns him into a mindless giant monster and sends him to kill the Kakurangers only for him to break free so Junior murders him instead. Amikiri then approaches Junior with the goal to kill Saizou to get revenge for what his ancestor cutting off her arm and he grants permission. Later, after she fails to defeat the Kakurangers, he captures Tooru who has taken pictures of her attacking Saizou as the photos may allow the Kakurangers to find a weakness in her technique. When he reveals the photographs to her though, they find his photography to have been so amateurish that he captured none of the fight and she decides to use him as a hostage to lure out Saizou.
Later, Junior employs Tsuchigumo to capture humans and turn them into sausages for the Youkai to eat. He later visits the Youkai and traps three of the outstanding Kakurangers in the monster's lair by luring them into a trap but notices Sasuke's absence (since he already suspected a trap) and goes looking for him. They soon meet and fight, Gashadokuro completely defeating Sasuke but escapes in a hot air balloon after Tsuchigumo is slain. After the defeat of Tsuchigumo, Gashadokuro once again sends the Flowery Kunochi Gang to murder Sasuke; this time aided by Professor Yugami who has invented a device designed to prevent the Kakurangers from morphing or communicating with each other. Even with these many advantages, the plan fails when Muteki Shogun gives Sasuke the Flaming Shogun Sword and only makes Junior angrier. He then meets with Sarugami when he plans to kill the Kakurangers with thier own attacks but he also fails.
After being contacted by Daimaou, Gashadokuro has Umibozu capture fifteen children to invoke a ritual to bring Daimaou into the world that. After the Youkai carries it out at the cost of his own life, Gashadokuro reveals his true self to the Kakurangers and confronts them in the rail yard. He summons the Flowery Kunochi Team and grows giant after they are defeated whereupon he is infused with Daimaou's power. With it, he defeats the Giant Beast Generals and uses his power to take the altar he created on a building and the surrounding district into the sky far beyond the Kakurangers' reach. From there, he uses his music to turn those trapped on it into stone. Later learning that the Kakurangers are going after their Shinobi Scrolls, Gashadokuro attempts to thwart them by sending Ittan-momen and Kasabake after Sasuke and Tsuruhime. Though he attempts to go after Saizo and Sekai, Gashadokuro is forced to stand down to have Nue deal with them and Jiraiya. When the Kakurangers obtain their Super Ninja Beasts, Gashadokuro confronts them only for them to summon the Super Ninja Beasts to destroy the Seal Door and prevent Daimaou's revival. Junior grows but finds himself overpowered until he is saved by his father's human tactician Hakamenro. Angered and disgraced, Junior confronts Hakumenrou because he believes that he is a traitor but Daimaou appears and promises otherwise. Even with Daimaou's promise, Junior demands that Professor Yugami give him greater power to prove himself to his father.
Junior and Yugami later watch Hakumenrou fight Tsuruhime on the latter's television but she is saved by the Kakurangers' mentor Sandayuu Momochi. As a result, Junior confronts and kills Sandayuu with his own sword as the Kakurangers watch. Ruthless as ever, Junior attacks with even the Kakuranger Ball's Kakure Shoot being deflected back at the Kakurangers. Before Junior can kill them though, Tsubasamaru gives Sasuke the Thunder Sword Hikarimaru which he uses to defeat Gashadokuro with the Thunder Slice. Frustrated, Gashadokuro once again enlarges and is overwhelmed by the Super Ninja Beasts only to be equipped with a flamethrower by Professor Yugami. With it, he gains the upper-hand until the Kakurangers form Kakure Daishogun which is immune to his blasts. They then smash the flamethrower and send him flying with the Iron Fist Finish before combining with Tsubasamaru to form Super Kakure Daishogun. Gashadokuro takes flight with his jet-pack but is knocked back down with the Flying Kick and slain with Super Kakure Daishogun's Iron Fist Flying Finish. Despite this, they are too late to destroy the Seal Door and Daimaou is able to make his escape.
Gashadokuro is recalled by the Announcer whilst recapping the Kakurangers' war against the Yokai during his feature on the Kakurangers.
Middle Aged Struggle[]
Thirty years after his death, Young Prince Junior is revealed to have survived his explosion using his Reincarnation Technique. However, doing so cost him his memories and knowledge of his Youkai nature and in the meantime has built himself a family. However, as part of a plan to turn his son Goro into the new Daimaou, Flower Ninja Gabero breaks his brake pedal which causes his car to crash; killing Junior's wife and putting the Youkai himself into a coma although Goro would be rescued by Seikai and Tsuruhime.

Gashadokuro presents himself as a violent punk-rocker but is in actuality a sadistic monster whose only goal was the furthering of his and his father's goals and would kill anyone who opposed him. He did not even care about his subordinate Youkai, berating and beating down Keukegen before literally dragging him down several flights of stairs for being useless in battle and murdering Zashiki-warashi for defying the Youkai’s mission. However, he also proved to be hypocritical since he was kind to the Flowery Kunochi Team even after their multiple defeats and cared for them well. He was pragmatic, leaving Jiraya alive to ensure Zashiki-warashi's surrender since he believed the Youkai would kill the Kakurangers anyway.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Power: Gashadokuro was the third most powerful member of the Youkai Army Corps, stronger than the other Youkai or either the Flowery Kunochi Team or Daidarabotchi but was surpassed by Yama-uba and Daimaou. He was stronger than the Kakurangers and the Beast General Fights but was much weaker than the Super Ninja Beasts or (Super) Kakure Daishogun.
- Strength: Gashadokuro knocked Jiraya out of the air with a slap and pin him underfoot. A single swing of his sword was strong enough to knock back the Kakuranger Ball.
- Durability: Gashadokuro survived God Gammer's Gammer Fire and God Saruder's Twin Sword Cut without a scratch. Even the Thunder Sword Hikarimaru's Thunder Slice did little more than wind him.
- Human Form: Gashadokuro can assume the human form of a punk rocker by fading in and out of existence.
- Weapons Combat: Gashadokuro can fight and defeat all five Kakurangers at once with just his sword.
- Hand to Hand Combat: Gashadokuro can overwhelm Jiraya with his bare hands even whilst the Kakuranger was using his Kakuremaru.
- Image Projection: Gashadokuro can generate a massive image of his head into the sky in storm clouds at will.
- Lightning Blasts: Gashadokuro can fire pink lightning from the eyes of this projection. These took down all five Beast Fighter Generals with one hit and killed Zashiki-warashi with a two second blast.
- Teleportation Lightning: Gashadokuro can also fire pink lightning from his eyes to kidnap people as seen with Tooru.
- Crevice Opening: Junior can flash his projection's eyes to open chams in the ground and make fire engulf his enemies.
- Lightning Blasts: Gashadokuro can fire pink lightning from the eyes of this projection. These took down all five Beast Fighter Generals with one hit and killed Zashiki-warashi with a two second blast.
- Dorodoros Summoning: Junior can summon Dorodoros by snapping his fingers.
- Energy Blasts: Junior can fling invisible energy blasts from his hands that took down Zashiki-warashi down with one hit.
- Yokai Lightning Cloud Summoning: Gashadokuro is able to summon the Yokai Lightning Cloud to enlarge himself with its Yo Power.
- Yo Power Corruption: Junior was also able to also use the Yo Power to corrupt Zashiki-warashi into a mindless rage monster.
- Energy Beams: Gashadokuro can fire powerful dark red-black beams from his left hand.
- Energy Deflection: Gashadokuro can deflect shots from Jiraya's KakuLaser with his bare hands.
- Tractor Beam: Gashadokuro can fire continuous pink lightning from his right hand capable of restraining Jiraya, lifting him into the air, and slamming him against a tree.
- Eye Blasts: Gashadokuro can fire pink lightning from his eyes that could cause massive explosions.
- Kunochi Summoning: Gashadokuro can summon the Flowery Kunochi Gang by snapping his fingers.
- Technique Reversal: Gashadokuro are able to counter any of Sandayuu's Ninja Art techniques just by saying "*ninja style* reversal" which would send the attack straight back at the enemy and strike them down.
- Reincarnation Technique: One of Gashadokuro's most powerful techniques where he can survive his own death by reincarnating but in the process will lose all of his memories.

- Bone Sword: Gashadokuro wields a giant razor sharp bone sword in battle. It turns into an electric guitar in his human form.
- Lightning Ball Blast: After being empowered by Daimaou, Gashadokuro can raise his sword-tip into the air to make red lightning strike it and then aim it forth to fire a devastating barrage of red energy balls. A single use took down all five Beast General Fighters with one hit.
- Fists: Even without his sword, Gashadokuro easily beat down Jiraya with his bare hands when fighting over Zashiki-warashi.
- Katana: Gashadokuro killed Sandayuu with his own katana.
- Flamethrower: Gashadokuro was equipped with a camouflaged flamethrower by Professor Yugami that could fire orange flames or pink lightning from the tip.
