The Gashadokuros are minor characters in the 2021 Roblox story horror game The Mimic; with at least four of them acting as supporting antagonists in Jealousy's Book.

While they originally appeared as just generic decorations scattered around Yoki Town in Chapter I, they later appeared as more villainous in Chapter II where they then try to kill Isamu.

Appearance

The Gashadokuros look like normal skeletons but are much larger than normal human ones. In Yoki Town, they still have their eyeballs visible. In Jealousy: Chapter I, their bones have a more stone-like texture. In Jealousy: Chapter II, they don't have their eyeballs anymore and they have a rough texture and are colored in a sandy tone. The Gashadokuros in the Meat Restaurant also seem larger than the ones in the Yoki Town. In Jealousy: Chapter III, they are now crimson skeletons with bloodshot eyes and are bigger.

History

Jealousy: Chapter I

When Isamu reaches Yoki Town after escaping from Nagisa, he sees a Gashadokuro lying on the floor. When he approaches it, it's eye twitches and stares at Isamu. But despite this, it doesn't attempt to attack him.

Jealousy: Chapter II

After escaping the Meat Restaurant, Isamu walks down a long hallway before falling down after the floor breaks open. He lands in another hallway before noticing a giant gate behind him. Almost immediately after, something starts banging on the door before it breaks open and multiple Gashadokuros clustered into one mass start chasing Isamu. However, after evading several falling debris and obstacles, he is able to escape them and enter yet another hallway.

Jealousy: Chapter III

After Isamu jumps into a hole in order to escape from Dodomeki, he falls through a fiery cityscape while multiple Gashadokuro latch around the buildings. Though they don't seem to attempt in attacking him.

Trivia

• The Gashadokuros are based off the Japanese yokai of the same name, which translates to "rattling skull" in English.
• The Gashadokuros are one of the few monsters to not have a jumpscare, other similar ones include Rin during the chase sequence, Nagisa, and Kyogi in the boat's vents.
