Gastley is the main antagonist of the Max and the Midknights trilogy, a spin off of the Big Nate franchise, serving as the main antagonist of the first novel, Max and the Midknights, and the secondary antagonist of the third and final novel Max and the Midknights: The Tower of Time. He is the cruel and tyrannical ruler of Byjovia, and the brother of King Conner the Kind.

Gastley is a thin portly man, he has light brown hair, a goatee, and a handlebar mustache. he wears dark purple robes, a orange belt with a yellow buckle, an orange cape, and a yellow crown.
Personality[]
Gastley is a cruel and sadistic king, being willing to murder his brother and a child just to be the king of Byjovia. He shows no remorse for his attempted murders.
