Gates Capa is a Titans soldier and Cyber-Newtype assigned as the wingmate of Rosamia Badam and a minor antagonist in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
He was voiced by Kazuki Yao.
History[]
Though not as powerful as Rosamia Badam, Gates was placed as her partner to keep her mental instability in check.
During a test mission, Rosamia ended up running off with Kamille Bidan into one of the colonies, forcing Gates to chase after them to bring Rosamia back. Gates is later seen accompanying Rosamia while she is piloting her MRX-010 Psyco Gundam Mk-II in his own Baund-Doc.
Gates later takes part in a battle to defend the Dogosse Giar from Reccoa Londe and her squadron. However, when Rosamia was killed by Kamille, Gates suffered a psychic backlash that took him out of commission. In the novels, Gates dies as a result of his psychic link with Rosamia.
