Crackstone was a fanatic religious man and when they arrived in the actual Vermont, there was already people living here, people possessing various kind of supernatural abilities, from shapeshifters to werewolves. The settlers then decided to eradicate these people, considered by Crackstone as the Devil’s creations. One night, they captured a young girl name Goody Addams, a settler from Mexico and Crackstone sentenced her to death with her mother and several other outcasts, chained in the house that served for the Pilgrim’s meetings, to set it on fire and burned them all. Goody’s mother begs her to escape, as they forgot to chain her. Goody manage to escape, but came back after an unknown amount of time, willing to avenge her mother’s and other outcasts’ deaths. She killed Crackstone, then cursed his soul and locked his coffin with a lock of her own blood, preventing to resurrect him by almost every means. Even after Crackstone’s death, his descendants remained vengeful and genocidal towards outcasts. The feud reached his culmination point when outcast Nathaniel Faulkner founded Nevermore Academy on the pretended lands of Crackstone. The school was built for young outcast to educate them, but that didn’t prevent Crackstone’s descendants to try to kill outcasts, even children.
