Gematria are the main antagonists of Blue Archive. They are a mysterious group of scientist from outside Kivotos whose leader is yet to be revealed, with Black Suit mainly takes on the role of moderating other members.
History[]
Gematria is a group of adults from 'outside' Kivotos, where each member has a different stance toward the chalet, more precisely, Sensei, but they are aiming at other students of Kivotos for some purpose. According to Maestro, the way to contact Sensei is usually through dreams.
A long time ago, there was an organization called Gematria that developed Decagrammaton, and seeing that it took a long time for Decagramaton to declare that the proof was complete. But the city where they were researching was submerged, so you can think it was a fairly old group. As mentioned above, Black Suit said that he only used the organization's name because it was an appropriate name, and like the case of him, it could never be estimated at the level of students, and despite using thorough and subtle techniques that could completely hide the reality. Considering that only Beatrice succeeded in privatizing a completely isolated each school, it is estimated that the current Gematria is different from the former Gematria, who developed Decagrammaton in the past.
Whether or not they are a force with a unified opinion, everyone has a different position on Sensei; Black Suit who recognizes Sensei as his own kind and believes that he will antagonize them through competition, Maestro who believes that each other will rise through exchanges with Sensei as his understanding, Golconde and Decalcomanie who believe that people will complete each other, and Beatrice who orders the murder, believing that Sensei will hinder each other by recognizing them as her opponents. The main purpose of Gematria's activities is exploration and research on 'Mysteries', 'Terrors', and 'Sublimes'. The students of Kivotos are treated closely as subjects of study and are not particularly hostile. Even Sensei, who guides the students, may not conflict with their goals, but rather help them. However, when considering 'which adult is better', one of the main contents dealt with in this game, from the position of Sensei, who represents the ideal position for dealing with students, it is a group of adults who will make students bear hardships in any way. Gematria is bound to be villains from the standpoint of SCHALE and Sensei.
In Volume F, in preparation for the Chroma that came due to Beatrice's evil action, it aimed for Parousia, the second coming of the divinity through the research they had collected so far, but was destroyed by Anubis and all the collected data was robbed. At the point of the end of the world approaching, Black Suit reluctantly came to Sensei and gave them information to fight the Chroma, but at the same time advised that if they abused the Credit Card, they would fall like Gematria in return.
Later, after Black Suit restored Maestro's body, now Gematria said that no matter what they pursue, they will only be taken away by the Chroma. He realizes that Sensei is the last hope for a counterattack. Afterwards, Black Suit invites Sensei to Gematria and offers to enter Gematria as a trade condition to provide a means to fight the Chroma. This was actually a joke, and he tells Sensei, who is trying to save the whole planet, the existence and location of the Ark of Atrahasis, which the Chroma brought free of charge, and an aircraft-like supercomputer, Utnapishtim's Ship, to fight against it.
