General Bacchus is the lead commander of the Hades Army and the secondary antagonist of the first half of Genseishin Justirisers.
He is voiced by Atsushi Ono.
History[]
General Bacchus arrives before Kaiser Hades.
After Kaiser Hades was unsealed, he summoned Bacchus and his six Death Commandos to assist him in his conquest of Earth. Bacchus directed each of his Death Commandos to eliminate the Justirisers in order to pave the way for the Hades Army's invasion of the planet.
When Shirogane was awakened and defeated Twins Knight, Bacchus decided to fight the Justirisers himself in order to get them to invoke Shirogane so he could personally witness its power. He first targeted Shouta and attacked him to get him to awaken Shirogane, but Shouta informed him that all three Justirisers needed to be present for Shirogane to be summoned. However, Riser Kageri and Riser Gant soon arrived and together they repeatedly attempted to summon him, only to fail each time. Bacchus then decided to attack the Justirisers himself in the hope that Shirogane would manifest. When that didn't work, Bacchus took Gentarou as a hostage and threatened him. It was then that Mio arrived and used her JustiPower to empower the Justirisers to knock Bacchus back to Hades.
After Hades discovered that Mio was the actual source of Shirogane during Devoras's battle with the Justirisers, he sent Bacchus to Hoshikami Island to eliminate Mio and Yuka while they were investigating there in order to ensure Shirogane would never be summoned. Demon Knight was assigned to assist him but Bacchus, who saw Demon Knight as a rival for his position of Hades's second-in-command, attempted to eliminate both him and the Justirisers by attacking them all with the Space Beast Scaraberus. After the Justirisers defeated Scaraberus using their SeiShinJuu, Bacchus exited the scene.
For his final plan, Bacchus plotted to use Glen to take out Demon Knight and then defeated him in turn. His plan was stymied when Kageri and Gant showed up to assist their teammate and battle Bacchus, soon being joined by Glen. After Glen became Shirogane, Bacchus was defeated and killed by him.
General Bacchus would later be revived by Commander Adorocs to assist him in defeating the Justirisers and obtaining the Justi Crystal. However, Bacchus had little interest in serving him and instead only sought to settle his rivalry with Demon Knight. He battled Glen, Gant and Demon Knight while Adorocs and the revived Doctor Zora ganged up on Kageri. After Glen broke away to assist Kageri, the other Justirisers were able to repel Bacchus and soon went to join him in helping Kageri.
Bacchus would then make another attempt to take out Demon Knight, battling him and Gant while Zora once more fought Kageri, who was soon joined by Glen after he regained his powers. Bacchus was destroyed again by a combined attack from Gant and Demon Knight.
