Biography[]
The Sergeant is recruited by Colonel Jones to help take out a new emerging criminal network that deals in drugs, weapons, and terrorism. Very little is known about the organization, other than being led by General Viper, and that they are also developing a super weapon and the mercenaries have taken hostages. The first mission involves the Sergeant infiltrating the jungle in order to find the communications center and rescue the hostages. After killing an enemy sergeant, the Sergeant makes his way to the communications center where he destroys the radar station. He then learns from a hostage that General Viper is in his private villa beyond the slums. As he makes his way to the villa, Viper personally attacks the Sergeant in a Hind-D helicopter, which the Sergeant destroys. However, Viper is nowhere to be found in the wreckage, and instead finds a map leading to a refinery. The Sergeant proceeds to the refinery, in which he destroys a massive armored tank in the process. A nurse then tells the Sergeant that General Viper's secret base is straight ahead, then he takes a helicopter to the base. Upon arriving at the base, the Sergeant finds and destroys Viper's secret weapon, but Viper escapes to the airport. As the Sergeant fights his way to the airport, Viper escapes in his private plane, forcing the Sergeant to take another plane to chase him down. After taking off the runway, the Sergeant catches up to Viper's plane. After a long aerial chase, the Sergeant eventually shoots down and destroys Viper's plane, but unknown to anyone, Viper is later revealed to have survived the plane crash, and walks away clutching his wounds, signaling his possible return.
