He was sent by Yogostein to attack and destroy Tokyo, but when he encountered Sosuke, they accidentally swapped their bodies and Sosuke's soul was trapped inside the body of the Banki, while Generator Banki's mind was teleported to Sosuke's human body. And so Sosuke's friends, Go-Ongers had to save their friend and return him to his body.

Biography[]
Generator Banki was created by Yogostein. After being created, the ministers sent this electric themed monster to attack Tokyo and eliminate the Go-Ongers. Yogostein tasked his monster to discharge lightning and cause mayhem in the city. Sosuke was sick at that time and laid up with cold, but he still decided to fight and stop the Banki monster. Sosuke ran to the city to fight the Banki, but none of his friends were impressed by his confidence. Sosuke found the villain and fought him. However, when Sōsuke executed a close range attack, Generator Banki's generator overloaded and discharged a bolt of lightning that zapped them both and switches their bodies. The other Go-Ongers found who they think was Sōsuke (but was actually the soul of Generator Banki in Sōsuke's body) and bring him back to the Ginjiro-go, while Sōsuke, whose soul is trapped in Hatsuden Banki's body, awakened in confusion in front of Yogostein.
Each of them saw this moment as a golden chance to destroy his enemy from within, but Generator Banki was waylaid by the other Go-Ongers' earnest, yet bizarre, attempts to cure "Sōsuke" of his cold, and "Generator Banki" was set to have his power amplified for Yogostein's "Plan B." When Sosuke in the body of Generator Banki destroyed the generator that has amplified his powers, "Sōsuke", who has escaped from the Go-Ongers, showed up and tried to convince Yogostein that he was really Generator Banki.
"Sōsuke" and "Hatsuden Banki" started battling each other, and just as Yogostein figured out the situation, the other four Go-Ongers arrived. Yogostein grabbed "Sōsuke" and threatened to kill him if the Go-Ongers don't defeat "Generator Banki." However, the Go-Ongers saw right through Yogostein's plan, thanks to Speedor, and attacked "Sōsuke" instead, forcing Yogostein to retreat. "Sōsuke" turned into "Go-on Red" and fought the Go-Ongers, but was knocked down by "Generator Banki".
Speedor and his fellow Engines combined their powers to draw Sōsuke's soul from " Generator Banki" into a Soul Chip, which the Go-Ongers placed in the Junction Rifle and fired at "Sōsuke." Both souls were returned to their rightful bodies, but Sōsuke's cold remained in the body of Generator Banki, which weakened the beast enough to be beaten by a Speedor-powered Super Highway Buster. Hatsuden Banki then used the Industrial Revolution and grew giant, but he was still hampered by Sōsuke's cold, which allowed Engine-Oh G6 to scrap him easily.
