~ Genjuro Kazamatsuri before he unveils DES X. |
Genjuro Kazamatsuri is a minor antagonist in the video game Disgaea 4: A Memory Unforgotten.
Personality[]
Genjuro Kazamatsuri is a very odd person to say the least. He is an incredibly smart scientist who was able to create an entire army of demon clones and even made it so his official job title is "Mad Scientist".
Relationship[]
Fuka Kazamatsuri[]
Despite how it appears, Genjuro cares for his daughter a lot with his entire life's work being dedicated to fulfilling her wish of getting a little sister that can take over the world.
Although Genjuro cares for his daughter a lot, he is unphased by her being killed by DES X or her arrival as an Unprinny.
Judge Nemo[]
Genjuro and Judge Nemo have a beneficiary truce where they work together on the Demon clone army. Both of them openly accept and acknowledge that they are simply using each other to get what they want.
Genjuro would end up siding against Judge Nemo after both Desco and DES X are created and perfected.
Biography[]
Past[]
Genjuro Kazamatsuri is a brilliant scientist and the father of Fuka Kazamatsuri. Sometime when Fuka was a young child, Genjuro Kazamatsuri's wife and Fuka's mother would die in some unknown manner.
When Fuka was young, she would tell her father that she wanted a younger sister who could help her take over the world. After watching a "movie about dinosaur clones", Genjuro would become inspired and immediately get to work so he could make a clone sister for Fuka.
Soon Genjuro would be contacted by Judge Nemo who took interest in Genjuro's abilities and made a deal with him, Genjuro would be given demon DNA in order to make an army of demon clones for Judge Nemo and Judge Nemo would fund all of Genjuro's research into making a demon clone who would act as Fuka's sister.
Genjuro would go on to create Desco and her perfected form, DES X.
Disgaea 4: A Memory Unforgotten[]
Genjuro would make his first appearance in the game in the human world laboratory, confirming to Fuka that he created both the demon clones and Desco, much to her annoyance. He also confirms that he is working alongside Judge Nemo for their own goals before sicking some demon clones on Valvatorez's group.
After seeing how easily Valvatorez's group defeated the demon clones while not having any Fear Energy, he became curious and asked Valvatorez how he was this strong. Before Valvatorez could answer, Fuka interrupted, wanting to know why her father was working with someone who wanted to destroy humanity, he doesn't answer but promised to tell her soon.
Once enough demon clones are defeated, Genjuro takes all of their battle data and transfers it all to DES X, making her the strongest member of the demon clones. DES X would go on to fight Valvatorez's group in an attempt to kill Fuka and Desco while Genjuro watched from the side.
After DES X was defeated, Genjuro would start to explain to Fuka that he created the demon clone army, DES X and Desco in order to grant Fuka's wish of having a little sister. Fuka would accept this at first before asking why he made her little sister's demons, Genjuro would then remind Fuka about how she wanted a little sister that could help her take over the world, something Fuka refused to admit.
During this time, Judge Nemo would become annoyed at all the talking and how DES X wasn't going to kill humanity since Genjuro didn't want her to, making the two former allies turn against each other.
After this point, Genjuro would stop being an antagonist and start being a supportive ally for Fuka, helping her stop the Moon from crashing and giving hotpods to Gig so he would give Fuka the World Eater Feinne.
Trivia[]
- The movie about dinosaur clones which inspired Genjuro to create demon clones is a very obvious reference to the Jurassic Park franchise.
