Geno, (also spelled Genō), is the secondary antagonist of Fortnite: Battle Royale.
He is a brilliant but ruthless genetic scientist and perfectionist, obsessed with achieving perfection. He founded the Imagined Order (IO), an organization devoted to maintaining order over the Omniverse through the Zero Point. His ultimate goal is to find the perfect organizational system for the perfect civilization in order to perfect every realities in the Omniverse to protect them against a threat. However, in order to complete his plan, Geno abandoned all sense of ethics and morality, firmly believing this was the only way.
He enslaved the Zero Point and harnessed its power for many research and experiments, one of them being The Loop, an artificial temporal loop of 22 minutes forcing all people inside to fight until death, stripped from their memories and ability to speak, before respawning the next Loop. He is also the biological father of The Imagined and The Order, two members of The Seven, The Imagined Order's main enemy. Despite their strained relationship, Geno's actions suggest a complex and conflicted bond with his daughters, indicating that his cold demeanor hides some measure of care and attachment.
During Chapter 4, the existence of a snapshot of Geno named The Ageless revealed he once was the leader of the Oathbound Empire, also known as the Ageless Kingdom.
Personality[]
He is a cold, arrogant, confident and perfection-obsessed individual. He views himself as a hero and a savior, believing his extreme methods are justified and needed for the greater good. He despises imperfection and weakness, labeling anyone who opposes him as failures unworthy of existence. His confidence often borders on hubris, as he assumes his vision of archieving perfection is the only path to save The Omniverse.
Despite his apparent ruthlessness, Geno's relationship with his daughters, The Imagined and The Order, reveals a more nuanced side to his character. Although he abandoned them and treats them as enemies due to their alignment with The Seven, Geno has consistently refrained from harming them directly. When The Imagined was disintegrating alongside him, Geno attempted to save her, showing that his love for his daughters persists, even if he doesn't openly express it. He also offered The Order the chance to live in safety, suggesting that he still cares for their well-being in his own way.
The Ageless, a copy of Geno in his youth, displays a notably different demeanor. Unlike the original Geno, The Ageless follows a Knight's Code of Honor and appears to enjoy combat and personal challenges. Overall he is friendlier than Geno but, like his counterpart, he seeks to protect reality and is obsessed by perfection too, although not as much as Geno. This indicates a notable personality change on Geno's part over the millennia he lived through.
Biography[]
Past[]
At an unspecified time period, Geno was the ruler of the Oathbound Empire. However, one day, under unknown circumstances, he discovered Zero Point. He then founded the Imagined Order, abandoning the Oathbound, which was taken over by The Ageless, created around that time. Over the decades and centuries, Geno mastered science and genetics and genetically modified himself, while the Imagined Order, now led by an Inner Circle, Geno's closest allies, greatly expanded across many realities. When he had daughters with an unknown partner, He decided to genetically modify them even before their birth, in order to make them "perfect", making them far more performant than ordinary humans and functionally immortal, like himself.
At a time after the etablishment of The Loop in Reality Zero, Geno made a bet with a member of the Inner Circle about if his "perfect" daughters would be the first to ever escape The Loop. They did escape, however not fast enough for him. When they returned home, Geno had seemingly replaced them with stronger Snapshots. However, all of this seems to have been a plot of Geno to set his daughters free.
The plan ultimately backfired when his two daughters—now known as The Imagined and The Order—defected to The Seven, an inter-reality group dedicated to protecting the Omniverse. Convinced that Geno's manipulation of the Zero Point endangered the Omniverse's balance, and viewing both The Loop and the Imagined Order's agenda as fundamentally immoral, they vowed to dismantle the organization and save both the Zero Point and the Loopers. Imagined and Order also lost their memories of their past at some point.
Chapter 3: Season 2[]
During Chapter 3, following the rise of the Seven and the escaped Loopers from The Loop who formed The Resistance to oppose the Imagined Order and liberate Zero Point, he ordered the total annihilation of The Loop and of everyone who lives there with the Collider a doomsday machine. While The Imagined searched for answers about her past, Geno repeatedly interfered to keep her from uncovering the truth about her identity. Most notably, he completely erased all records of both of his daughters from the IO servers, a supposedly impossible action as the system is designed to preserve every trace indefinitely.
Marvel X Fortnite: Zero War #1[]
Geno recruit Doctor Doom in the Inner Circle of the Imagined Order, recognizing him as a valuable asset to the organization. He then tasked Doom with retrieving the Zero Point Shard and using it to reclaim the Ice King's arsenal.
Marvel X Fortnite: Zero War #5[]
During the Collision event, Geno remains on an upper platform of The Collider, where he fires an energy beam at Iron Man, causing him to crash. The Imagined notices his presence and calls The Order for assistance. The Sisters and Wolverine scale The Collider and fire blasts near Geno, leading to a direct confrontation. After overpowering all of them, Geno chooses not to kill his daughters and instead shows them mercy, but The Order kicks him, causing all of them to fall and cling to the platform. While Order jam Geno's flying system, The Imagined sacrifices herself by jumping into The Zero Point, taking Geno with her while Wolverine prevent Order from falling. Upon making contact with the uncontrolled Zero Point, they are transported to "The Realm", a pocket dimension belonging to Geno, and both began to discorporate and be scattered across The Omniverse.
They are later joined by Jones and The Foundation. Geno explains that he is unable to save his daughter or himself, acknowledging that they have won and have thwarted his plans—plans which, according to him, were intended to protect and perfect every reality in the Omniverse. He adds that there is no point debating who the true hero is, stating that The Foundation will now have to prove that his own methods are better, and expressing hope that they are. Geno warns them of an impending danger and urges them to master the Zero Point by any means necessary, as it will be their only hope. At last, he says it feels good to lay down his burden after all this time, and that it will be nice to rest before he fades away.
After the end of the war, his remnants traverse multiple realities, eventually converging at a single point and reforming Geno.
Powers and Abilities[]
Geno is an incredibly powerful being, thanks to his scientific knowledge he exceeded the human stage and became a being apart, after he defeated Iron Man in a single blow, Iron Man declared his power to be at least on par with Thanos.
- Superhuman Intelligence: Geno's most dangerous ability is his incredible intelligence, thanks to which he managed to achieve immortality and genetically modify himself and his daughters to make them become "perfect" beings. In addition to his great scientific knowledge of all existing scientific fields, he also has great knowledge of the omniverse and its threats. He seems to be one step ahead of his opponents having managed to elude the Seven for centuries by constantly being one step ahead of them.
- Superhuman Strength: The result of the genetic modifications he made on himself, his strength greatly exceeded those of his daughters whom he had also modified to make them stronger.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Geno's resistance is so great that Wolverine, who can hurt the Hulk, and his daughters were unable to do any damage to him. The only thing currently known that can hurt Geno is the Zero Point, and even Zero Point disintegration isn't permanent.

Unlike those of his daughters, the energy he projects is golden and much more powerful, having allowed him to defeat Iron Man in a single blow. In addition to the destructive energy rays, he can use this energy to paralyze the opponent as he did with The Imagined, flight or even defensively to strengthen his resistance.
- Respawning: After being killed, disintegrated by the Zero Point and each of the atoms that make up his body were each sent to different realities of the omniverse, he was able to control them independently and reform himself. This makes him the only known being to not die from Zero Point disintegration and emerge unscathed.
- Omniversial Teleportation: During the process of reforming his body, he had to teleport his body's atoms from reality back to reality to reform himself demonstrating his ability to teleport himself to all realities of the omniverse even without the Zero Point.
- Pocket Dimension: Thanks to his scientific knowledge and his powers, Geno was able to create his own pocket dimension, which disappeared when he was disintegrated.
