Geoff Pearl is a supporting antagonist in the TV show The Blacklist, appearing as the overarching antagonist of the episode "The Mombasa Cartel." He is the leader of an infamous cartel known for poaching animals, having ordered the murders of Dembe Zumba's family when he was a little boy.

As a young man, he was named Sean Salter and was a member of the Animal Underground Network, an animal rights organization. Eventually realizing that the group was dangerous, he left the group, but two years later, the gang was arrested for butchering several poachers. During his stay, he became sexually involved with a woman named Skye Kincaid, and they eventually had two children, Peter and Matthew, the latter of whom was extremely tall, huge, and mentally undeveloped. Still wanting to help animals, he founded the Mombasa Cartel, claiming that by killing rivals and poaching animals, he would keep animal massacres to a low. His cartel later became the biggest cartel in the world, specializing in poaching and assassinations of rival members of small cartels. The most disturbing thing, however, was that Peter and Matthew abducted the rival cartel members and hunted them down in the woods before skinning them and using them for taxidermy. Appearing as an animal activist who was the CEO of Deckard Capital and numerous shell companies, not a single person suspected him of being a criminal. Through low-level mercenaries, he had people who went against the cartel murdered, alongside their families, their villages, and anyone in the vicinity. After having Dembe Zumba's family killed when their father identified members of the cartel, six-year-old Dembe was kidnapped and sold into sex slavery to the Eberhardt Cartel.
The Mombasa Cartel[]
After sending Joseph Batoula to his family, who is then killed, his body appears on a shore in Kamchatka, Russia. Raymond Reddington, a powerful criminal who saved Dembe when he was 14 years old, claims that the Mombasa Cartel is responsible, not just for animal poaching but a series of massacres and homicides across the world. For information, Reddington sends Elizabeth Keene to go undercover and ask Pearl about the cartel, as he is apparently an advocate against the gang. After sending Keen and the FBI to arrest Lee Chun, the man is released, but is then immediately sent to Peter. When another body washes up on a shore in Japan, Aram Mojtabai tells the group that the bodies were all dumped in the same place, the former holdout for the Animal Underground Network. Ressler is sent to the home but is knocked out after finding Ezra locked inside a cage. After the hunt starts and Ezra is killed, Redington manages to identify Geoff as the young Sean Salter. After Geoff is called by Skye, he spots Redington and Dembe in his home. He is accused of running the cartel, but he justifies his actions as simple supply and demand. Just as Redington is about to kill him after Geoff reveals the names of important people in the cartel, he tells Geoff the story of Dembe. Even though Dembe says that he forgives Perl for what he did, Reddington is disgusted by his crimes, and thus, he kills him by shooting him in the chest. With Matthew, Skye, and Peter now dead after an ambush, his family and cartel are defeated once and for all.
