George Acorn

King George the Foolish is a minor antagonist in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series by Archie Comics. He was a monarch of the House of Acorn, predating King Maximillian by roughly six generations. Having been spoiled by the fruits of previous kings' prosperous reign, he deemed himself perfect, and this belief prompted him to start a disastrous war with Overlanders, which brought shame upon his name.

Biography[]

Having come from a line of great kings that led the lands of Acorn to prosperity, George Acorn grew up spoiled and believed himself to be a perfect king. As such, he recklessly declared war on Overland. The resulting conflict was brief but violent, and many of the king's knights perished in it. For this, the royal court sanctioned George, leaving him with no authority until the end of his rule. George's name would remain in disgrace forever, and his war with Overland came to be known as "King George's Folly".

Personality[]

All that is known about George is that he was vain, believing himself to be flawless, and not avert to instigating a bloody war under this belief.
