George Brixley is the secondary antagonist in The Exploited arc of the 2023 tactical first-person shooter game Ready or Not, serving as the main antagonist in the mission "The Spider" and a minor character in "Valley of the Dolls" mission. He is the owner of Brixley Talent Time.

He is voiced by Hans Wackerhauser.

Biography[]

Past[]

George Brixley was born in May 17th 1968 in Camden, New Jersey, prior to joining the military, he had a hobby of making home movie called Cowboy George, though his father would then tell him to go school. he would later serve in the Army Signal Corps. After his discharge, he founded Brixley Talent Time.

Before he founded his agency, Brixley had a criminal record as a sex offender in New Jersey, convicted of conspiracy, as well as kidnapping and sexual assault against an unknown individual. After his release, he was forced to take therapy. He also came into contact with Amos Voll, to which he would supply him, as evidenced by a chat found on his computer.

It is most likely that he is also involved, to some degree, with the human traffickers based in Port Hokan. He also had ties to a streamer named Michael Williams, and the company Mindjot, which hosted his funds in cryptocurrency.

Therapy[]

You can find audio recorders can be found around Brixley's Talent Time. When interacted with they will play interviews between Brixley and a psychologist named Dr. Davis; the tapes provide information on his past and his mental state.

In the first tape, Davis talks about the payment as the sessions have already been covered,, Brixley didn't reciprocate to Davis' demeanor and makes rude comments during the session, he would then bring up his previous therapy sessions as a kid. Brixley snaps, calling him a waste of time and he'll never do it again; Davis tells Brixley that he's in therapy now to which Brixley responds with a snappy one-liner. Davis then jokes that Brixley should be on TV, to which Brixley replys saying he was a child actor, working small roles for commercials. Davis reveals there is no records and asks why Brixley stopped. Brixley replies saying he didn't enjoy doing it and refuses to elaborate further; Davis inquires as to why Brixley didn't enjoy them; Brixley immediately shuts him down, saying it doesn't matter and requesting the end of the interview.

In the second tape, Davis asks Brixley if he's feeling better than last time; Brixley shrugs it off. Davis asks Brixley about his time in the military, mentioning about his discharge due to an "incident" with a female officer. Brixley then makes up the claim, saying nothing happened, Davis then tells him that isn't what his papers say, Brixley further claims that whatever the paper says is "made-up bullsh*t" and immediately ends the session. Davis informs him that "talking is free" which Brixley ignores.

The Spider[]

After the raid on Williams' apartment, the Los Sueños Police Department found out the location of where George Brixley was at. Giving D-Platoon a chance to raid the agency. Brixley seemingly unaware of this development, he continues to abuse potential clients. But, is unwilling to take any risks, has came to contact with Bolton Security dressed as low lives for his security.

Upon the arrive of D-Platoon, Brixley and his guards barricaded themselves inside the talent agency with several civilians. At least one, is his receptionist. The others, Based on dialogue when arrested, are clients or parents who went back to the agency on their children's whereabouts.

Brixley, will not go down without a fight as he armed himself. If he is not stopped on time, or if all his guards have been dealt with, he will take his own life.

One of the tapes, will show that he has a client preform as Cowboy George. Though the client is shown to refuse, which angers Brixley.

The evidence gained during the raid of his agency, led to the the raids of the Mindjot server facility and the mansion of his accomplice, pornographer Amos Voll.

Post-Spider[]

Regardless if you killed him or not. He will be shown in the holding cells, where he'll stay for the remainder of the game, until the release of the Home Invasion DLC.

Personality[]

Brixley is shown to be very perverted and manipulative, He tricks his clients into "being stars" and hide the truth from their parents. During his interview, he's also shown to be in denial.

When encountering him, he is somewhat capable of combat, though he can surrender easily.

However on the other hand, Brixley is suicidal, if you don't stop him on time.

Gameplay[]

Brixley is usually seen in his office in the same mission, unlike Bolton Security, he has no armor and only armed with a revolver (if he’s fake surrendering he can pull other pistols), meaning he can be easily eliminated, he can also surrender easily, though this is a small chance, as he might have the chance to commit suicide if you don't stop him on time.

  • In the pre-release builds, Brixley uses a civilian model.
  • In the end of the first tape, the reason why Brixley ended the session is hinted that was abused as a child, damaging his mental state, turning him to the person he is.
