Georiya is the secondary antagonist of the anime series Tōshō Daimos. He is the right-hand man of Olban who is in fact the one responsible for Emperor Leon and Isamu Ryūzaki's deaths, instigating a war between the Baams and the Earthlings.
He was voiced by Kazuya Tatekabe.
Personality[]
Georiya is as bad as Olban himself and frequently conspires with the latter for Olban to gain more power. He is also very cunning and sadistic, as he manages to orchestrate two powerful figures' deaths and shifts the blames on others without being suspected, and when Richter finds out the truth, he taunts him and Erika for being fooled by him. However, his fatal flaw is his overconfidence, as he thinks that Richter can't do anything to him at all. There's also the fact that he is extremely cowardly as he is only willing to confront Richter when the latter is in no position to threaten him. Because of all the things mentioned above, Richter finally gives him what he deserves by killing him via his own dagger.
Biography[]
During Emperor Leon's council meeting with Earth's forces to negotiate an emigration, Olban had Georiya poison and kill him while framing the Earthlings for the crime, instigating a war between the Baams and Earthlings. Georiya also killed Isamu Ryūzaki, Kazuya's father, as well, making Erika think that she was accidentally responsible for it. Olban would then usurped Leon's throne as the rightful heir, Prince Richter, was too young to become the new king.
Afterwards, Olban begins his campaign against Earth, having Richter lead his forces to slaughter its inhabitants and destroy cities. Thankfully, the pilot Kazuya Ryūzaki then pilot the karate-using robot Daimos and fight Baam's forces. Halfway through the war, Balbas' younger brother Himley overhears Olban's world domination plot and realizes that Olban and Georiya were responsible for Emperor Leon's death, rather than the Earthlings. He reports this to Richter, who initially doesn't believe him but then confronts Georiya, who captures Richter, Balbas, Himley, Erika and Raiza and reveals the truth: that not only was he responsible for Leon's death but also Kazuya's father, Isamu Ryūzaki's (which Erika previously thought she was accidentally responsible). Raiza manages to trick Georiya so that she can set Richter and Balbas free.
Angered at what he learned, Richter is determined to kill Olban at all cost, and Raiza helps him infiltrate Baam. The two confronts Georiya, who begs for mercy and says that he only did what Olban ordered. Richter doesn't listen and attempts to kill him, only for Georiya to fling a dagger he hid to him. However, Richter manages to deflect the dagger back at Georiya, killing him.
