Gerti Orrelsdottr is a minor antagonist of R.A Salvatore's The Legend of Drizzt, serving as a secondary antagonist of The Hunter's Blades Trilogy. She was the frost giant daughter of Orel the Grayhand, jarl of the Yargray tribe, but since Orel was on his deathbed and not much more than a figurehead Gerti was the leader of the tribe for all intents and purposes. As leader she made an alliance with the orc king Obould Many-Arrows, who sought to conquer the area. Initially, since Obould was an orc, Gerti thought that she could easily control. However, after the orc king Obould showed himself to be smarter, stronger, and more ambitious than anyone could have guessed, Gerti eventually turned against him.
