Ghaur is a major villain in the Marvel comics serving as the main antagonist of the Eternals 1985 series and the crossover event Atlantis Attacks. He is a member of the Deviants race being the leader of the priesthood but often usurps the leader of their race serval times.
Biography[]
Ghaur is one of the many deviants Born from the celestials and long lived being bred from the preisthood ruling alongside Brother Tode. Lord Ghaur would eventually rise to become the new leader of the Priest hood but secretly desired to rule over deviants. Problem was that that the ruler of the deviant race was always monrachs of high class but their power was mostly relyed on the priesthood. The Priesthood was charged with eracdiating deviant mutites who had become more monsterous and uncontrollable and also had place in charlge of the supreame leader of the deviants for centeries it kept the same until the day Ghaur became the new leader of the priesthood. He had also seen brother Tode tried to take over omplyia but suffered a crippling defeat and tode would later die at some point which allowed Ghaur to take over the deviants leadership. Ghaur would later take the power of the dreaming celestial for his own ends and acess the uni-mind to wipe out the etrenals and take over the world. Kro would scerly ally himself to the etrenals in oreder to stop the mad deviant and tiamat would alter take over Ghaur's body after he lost control and would later die from this leaving Kros to take over leadership for the deviants and forming a truce with the eternals.
After this event Ghaur would return as a spirit allying himself with Seth to being his priest and teaming up with Lyra for the altantis attacks event where he had the avengers in his grasp and later revied by seth to capture every women that caught his eyes. He would also die again after seth's fall but would later return again to plague silver Surfer causing him to successful revive himself. Ghaur would later return again facing off against Namor and later escapes. His whereabouts remain unknown but is safe to assume to be still alive.
Powers and abilities[]
ghaur being a deviant has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durabilty, and healing factor. Ghaur is also a skilled manipulator and magic user.
