Great news, Pico! We've found new students to replace the dead ones! Isn't that great? We're bussing in students from the ghetto! Now they'll finally get the opprotunity they deserve! Say hello to your new classmates!
~ Mr. Flacit introducing the Ghettobots to Pico
Those bruthas aren't from North Philly. They are some sort of space jawn.
~ Darnell telling Pico the truth about the Ghettobots

The Ghettobots are major antagonists in the Pico series, and were supposed to be the main antagonists of Pico 2.

Composed of Leroy, Roc, and José, they're introduced in Pico's School as "students from the ghetto" who were apparently brought in as courtesy of the McGibbles' Kids Program. In reality, they are a trio of cyborgs created by the Penilians to eliminate Pico as revenge for him thwarting their plans.

History[]

Pico's School[]

In Pico's School, the Ghettobots are introduced in the ending, replacing the kids who died during the Goth Punks' attempt at taking over the school. Once they arrive, however, Pico immediately becomes hostile and pulls out his gun.

UFA[]

In UFA, the Ghettobots are briefly mentioned in the opening text to have been "controlled" by Pico following the events of Pico's School, preventing the Penilians from storming Earth for a century, until Pico eventually dies of old age.

Pico vs. Überkids[]

In Pico vs. Überkids, the Ghettobots only make a brief cameo appearance in the opening of the game, being amongst the few students who're introduced to the Überkids.

Pico 2[]

In Pico 2, the Ghettobots were intended to be the primary antagonists, revealed as a group of robots, created by the Penilians to enact their revenge on Pico. At a later point in the game, Roc was intended to have a boss fight on the Westbound Subway train, where he would seemingly throw the passengers at Pico as an attack. José was also supposed to be a boss at an unknown point in the game. Not much else is known due to the cancellation of Pico 2.

Pico Roulette[]

In Pico Roulette, the Ghettobots appear as individual playable characters.

Pico's Unloaded[]

In Pico's Unloaded, the Ghettobots make a brief cameo appearance at the very end of the animation, where Pico heads over to their milkshake spot named Shake-It for refreshment after a tough battle. After Leroy crushes a milkshake he handed over to a beaten-up Pico, he gets angry and grabs a mop as a weapon to fight the Ghettobots.
