Ghirra Starros is a secondary antagonist of the Star Wars metaseries Star Wars: The High Republic and the mother of the protagonist Avon Starros, who was a genius-level intellect and scientist. She is a female human politician that once represented the planet Hosnian Prime inside the Galactic Senate but utilised her office not just to benefit her people, but also further the interests of her own clan and various other parties, including the Graf family and later the Nihil, where she became the lover of Marchion Ro, their leader, feeding him information from the congress.
