Monster.
~ Jin calling Eve Polastri after the latter allows Villanelle to interrogate her.

Jin, better known as the Ghost, is a supporting antagonist in Series 2 of the TV series Killing Eve. She is an assassin hired by Aaron Peel to assassinate his father along with a few of his associates for his own purpose.

She is portrayed by Jung Sun den Hollander.

Biography[]

At some point in her life in order to provide for her two children, Jin became a professional assassin known as the Ghost, being extremely careful in her contracts and made sure not to leave blood at any of her crimes. She also became aware and afraid of the infamous assassin Villanelle, calling her a "Dalgyal Guishin", which translates to the "Egg Ghost", the demon with no face.

She came under the employment of businessman Aaron Peel and was hired to kill his father Alister along with a few others, in order to inherit the company Pharaday. Her kills caught the attention of MI6, and especially Eve Polastri, who believed that she was working on behalf of the Twelve. After killing Peel's secretary, they were able to identify and subdue her, convincing her to do it willingly while she was taking her children to school.

During interrogation, Jin was uncooperative and refused to reveal who hired her. Eve, feeling disappointed that her personality didn't live up to her modus operandi, asked her if she knew about Villanelle, in which she fearfully did confirm. As she refused to cooperate, she was brought to the woods in a shipping container. As she refused to say anything to Eve, she was then interrogated by Villanelle, whom Eve hired to "convince" her. Although it is unknown what Villanelle did, Jin gave up Peel's name and later called Eve a monster. She is not seen after this.
