Gi Bum Mo (Korean/Chosŏn'gŭl: 모기범, Mo Gi-beom) is a secondary antagonist in the 2017 ~ 2021 Korean crime thriller drama series, Voice Season 1. He is the chairman of Sungwoon Express and the father of Tae Gu Mo.
He is a native of North Korea, who started as a bus company and was successful enough to say that more than half of Korea's unprofitable land belonged to him. Currently, he is an authoritarian figure of slightly poor quality who is involved in the development of illegal GP, who controls a single city called Sungwoon City and has a lot of ties with high-ranking people.
He was portrayed by Do Kyung Lee.
Personality[]
Gi Bum Mo is greedy, arrogant, callous and very cruel in business and money. He even killed the president of a competing bus company for his business, intercepting routes taken by the competitor's bus company. And he's authoritarian, and one of the best examples of this is kicking in the shins of some of the older-looking directors when the bus overturned.
However, he truly cares for his son, Tae Gu Mo, and deeply regrets turning his son, who was a natural psychopath, into a monster, and this guilt is covering up the crimes Tae Gu Mo committed. Although he is a cruel businessman, he has a sincere heart for his son.

Mo Gi Bum is a successful business magnate of a bus company, Sungwoon Express who fled North Korea when he was young. His success lies in his constant insurance fraud by deliberately making his buses sub-standards and claiming huge insurance payout every time the buses cause into major accidents. 25 years ago, when his only son, Tae Gu Mo, was 12 years old, he had his competitor's bus company boss be beaten and then murdered in the basement of his villa by a subordinate on the pretext of trying to hijack his business. Tae Gu Mo and his wife saw this and reported it to the police, but they just covered it up with the lie that it was the aftereffects of his wife's overdose of sleeping pills. As a result of that incident, his wife suffered from pain and suffering, and eventually ended her own life. Still, he said to his son, Tae Gu Mo, "You are a special being. So, get rid of all those who offend you or deceive you." said in that way. Seeing his father who would rather have died, he was hit with two combos of mental breakdown at the news of his mother's suicide, and Tae Gu Mo, who was born a psychopath, heard those words immediately and became the worst serial killer and monster as he is now. In short, it is this person who actually caused the biggest cause of the fall of Tae Gu Mo.
After his insurance fraud is exposed and he is suspected to aid his son crimes all this time, the police comes to arrest him but he shoots himself with a revolver, choosing the depart this life than rotting in prison.
