The Giant Frobot is the main antagonist of the Amphibia episode "Turning Point". It is a Frobot that was sent by King Andrias to Wartwood to eliminate Sasha Waybright and Captain Grime.

Appearance

The Frog-Bot is enormous, bigger than any of the houses in Wartwood. It has red eyes, a bulky build, and a bronze point job.

Powers and Abilities

It can shoot multiple smaller Frobots similar to its design for reinforcements from its shoulders and back. It has incredible strength befitting its size and built in missile launchers in its arms and chest.

Biography

The Giant Frog-Bot showed up in Wartwood and Sasha engaged it in battle, but the Frog-Bot shot out smaller Frobots that overwhelm her. Just as the Giant Frog-Bot is about to fire at Sasha, Grime, who had a change of heart as well, rescues her. Then the villagers join in the fight, attacking the smaller Frobots. The Giant Frog-Bot was destroyed by the same 2 missiles fired from both its hands as Grime and Sasha use the missiles' tracking tech to guide them back to it. Sasha then decides to lead the citizens of Wartwood in a rebellion against King Andrias.

Trivia

• When the robot opens its hatch on its back to release more bots, it bears a resemblance to real life Surinam Toads, which stick their eggs to their back until those eggs hatch as it gives the appearance of holes.
  • This is further supported by the fact that the smaller bots the Frog-Bot releases possess tails, like that of a younger frog, along with the missiles it shot which looked even more like tadpoles.
