The Giant Puppeteer is a giant creature created by Trevor Henderson.

Appearance[]

The Giant Puppeteer is an imposing, humanoid figure with an unsettlingly slender build and light-blue skin. Its avian-like head lacks any discernible facial features, save for a small, needle-like protrusion at the tip of what appears to be a beak, possibly functioning as a proboscis.

The creature's entire form is elongated and emaciated, with arms and legs that stretch down to its knees, each limb possessing three joints instead of the usual two. The arms taper into disproportionately small, webbed hands, each equipped with four digits ending in razor-sharp talons.

Its skeletal frame is so thin that the rib cage presses visibly against its taut skin, while the abdomen narrows unnervingly inward, contrasting with its oddly wide hips. Despite the unnatural proportions, its legs, though slender, appear more conventionally structured.

In its left hand, the Giant Puppeteer dangles what seems to be either a human or a puppet, suspended by strings—likely tendrils—suggesting the origin of its name as it manipulates its victim with a puppet-like control.

Standing beside an average two-story house, which measures approximately 20 feet (6.09 meters) in height, the Giant towers at an estimated 100 feet (30.4 meters), dwarfing the surrounding buildings with its formidable presence.

Behavior and Origins[]

The Giant Puppeteer likely belongs to the same enigmatic species as other Giants depicted in Trevor's works, given its towering stature of around one hundred feet and its apparent collection of humans. If this is the case, its arrival on Earth would have been through the overlap of dimensions, facilitated by the summoning of a second Moon, as suggested by the caption accompanying the Tendril Giant.

This theory is supported by the caption of the Puppeteer's post, which reads, “When the time came, it wasn't in the way they'd thought, both in origin and destination.” This likely alludes to humanity's unexpected realization that the Giants, initially feared as harbingers of doom, were in fact the means of transporting souls to Heaven—their true destination.

As for its specific role among the Giants, the Puppeteer could be classified as either a Collection Giant or a Destruction Giant, though its true nature remains ambiguous. The creature's unique ability to conjure strings suggests it may be a Collection Giant, using these ethereal threads to elevate chosen souls to Heaven. However, its relatively short and humanoid form also aligns with the characteristics of a Destruction Giant, designed for annihilation. It is possible that the Giant Puppeteer embodies both roles, selecting worthy humans for ascension while condemning the unworthy to destruction.

Abilities[]

The Giant Puppeteer, like other Giants, possesses the ability to unleash mass destruction, overwhelming civilization with its colossal presence. Its string-like appendages serve a dual purpose: they snatch up any unworthy humans within reach, manipulating them as lifeless marionettes to lure in additional victims.

According to the caption, these strings may also be used to elevate virtuous souls to the heavens, a process reminiscent of other Giants’ methods. Those deemed unworthy are either killed or transformed into puppets under the Giant’s control.

The Puppeteer’s ability to manipulate humans, whether dead or alive, as puppets suggests a level of intelligence that allows it to mimic human behavior convincingly enough to ensnare others. This cunning use of its victims hints at a calculated awareness, making the Giant Puppeteer not only a physical threat but also a psychological one.
