The Giant Robot is one of the main antagonists (alongside the Large Armadillo) of the short-lived show Talking Friends which is based on Outfit7's Talking Animals. It is a giant robot built by Tom and Ben to help with their garbage problem, but it goes berserk later on.
Biography[]
Before the episode started, Tom wanted to solve the overmounting trash and garbage problem so he and Ben built the giant robot to do so. However, it goes atrociously wrong when Tom called it self-aware which ended up enraging the machine and wanting to kill its creators.
Meanwhile, Pierre was playing his video game until he saw the two getting chased by the robot as Ginger tells him. Ben hides behind a tree only for the robot to eat the tree and continue chasing Ben. Also he smashed Pierre's tent causing all the animals to hide behind a van. As they were doing so, Pierre and Tom witness his newly-washed car get eaten by the gigantic machine and he and Ben have an argument over the robot. Unfortunately when the robot hears Ben say self-aware, its attention was grabbed and spots them but luckily they hide in time as the Robot continued consuming Tom's car. Ben uses Pierre's controller to make an electromagnetic pulse generator in hopes of destroying it.
Tom disagrees and tries to be reasonable with the robot instead. Additionally Ginger and his toy giraffe Gina show love and affection to it. However, instead of showing love back it decides to take Ginger and eat him which enrages his uncle as gets the pulse generator and finishes off the Robot for good. Thankfully, it released Ginger alive, and after its death, the animals celebrated. The Giant Robot was never seen again after this.
