Giganoid 8: Jupiter is a minor antagonist in Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger, appearing in Episode 34 as one of two main antagonists.
He is the Jupiter/virus-based Giganoid at the service of the Invasion Garden Evolian, created by Visionary Messenger Voffa on the orders of Abare Killer for the deadliest game yet. He was sent by his masters to take control over the Space center and send the signals to the planet Jupiter. These signals would move the planet out of its orbit and Jupiter would destroy the Earth.
As with all Giganoids besides Eroica, Jupiter didn't have a voice actor, because he couldn't talk.
Biography[]
After surviving the last battle with Abarangers, Jannu, who again became Mahoro, tried to find Asuka, but encountered and was attacked by the Abare Killer. The Rangers arrived to help and save Mahoro, but seeing the fear in Mahoro’s eyes, AbareKiller immediately left and escaped. Later, in the lair of Evolians, Mikoto ordered Voffa to make him a Giganoid for the attack on Earth and the new plan to wipe out humanity. Voffa obeyed and created Jupiter for the new plan of attacking and destroying the Earth.
While the Rangers talked with an amnesic Mahoro. Giganoid 8, Jupiter appeared, but promptly vanished, having taken control of the space center’s computers for fullfilling his mission. Jupiter then sent out a signal to the planet Jupiter that would alter the planet's structure into the sun, move Jupiter out of its orbit, and make the planet crush into the Earth, destroying the Human World. This was just Mikoto’s game, so Ryoga attacked him, knocking AbareKiller to the ground. AbareMax teleported AbareKiller to his dimension where they battled, as Yukito and Ranru tried and did their best to stop the Trinoid. AbareKiller was defeated as Jupiter reappeared. Ryoga and MaxOhja drew Jupiter out of the space center and destroyed the monster, returning Jupiter to its orbit and saving the Earth from destruction and apocalypse.
