The Giganos Empire is the main antagonistic faction of Metal Armor Dragonar.
Biography[]
The empire is introduced launching rocks at the Earth, one of these attacks destroyed a chunk of land, killing off a child and several military personnel, this was done with a base built into the moon. The empire also had declared independence from Earth. The empire also does not recognize agreements signed by previous countries. Later during their attack on a colony Kaine, Light, and Tapp were residing at, a commanding officer is shown telling a subordinate that they were ordered to open fire. The subordinate later makes a report that they've found the disks. A group of people from Giganos later use a drilling device to break into the colony. This biker team confronts Tapp, Kaine, and Light several times. When the trio procures the disks for the Dragonar robots, the bikers proceed to pursue them. But the tables get turned when they've inadvertently lead to the trio piloting the Dragonars. Later on, when the heroes investigate the ruins of their previous space colony, Alcata, to find Kaine's mother, they find themselves attacked by Giganos grunts. Later, when the Itanbul is entering the atmosphere of Earth, the orbital division of Giganos leads an assault on the Dragonars and the Itanbul. Forcing them and Douglas to retaliate. But even after launching missiles, the orbital division still lost in the end.

- Marshal Iskander Gultorre- The initial leader of Giganos. Later in the series, he was murdered by Dorchenov who usurped his position.
- Meio Plato- One of the Marshal's lieutenants who is also a rival to Kaine Wakaba. He becomes a fugitive when he is framed for the murder of Marshal Guiltorre.
