Giganta is a minor antagonist in the grim horror comic series known as DCeased. She is a version of Giganta who was infected by the Anti-Life virus, turning her into a zombie bent on killing any life.
Biography[]
Giganta appeared in issue #4 of DCeased. She is seen attempted to destroy the Daily Planet to kill all of the survivors inside. The super heroes attempt to slow her down to stop her attack. Alfred arrives on the batwing to try to stop her, but Giganta knocks it down, almost killing Alfred. He is only saved due to Dinah's power.
Giganta meets her end when Superman manages to knock her to the ground. Wonder Woman attempts to kill her, but Superman stops her, telling Wonder Woman that Giganta might infect her. She is killed shortly after by Cyborg, who is not affected by the virus.
Trivia[]
- DCeased is currently set in its own universe, completely separate from the mainstream DC multiverse.
- The zombies in DCeased were not cannibalistic and were instead devoted solely to killing any life around them, this made them even more dangerous than traditional zombies and they also retained all the abilities of their host.
