Galactic Witch Gilza is a witch from space in service to the Megabeast Empire and a major antagonist in Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion.
She is portrayed by Atsuko Takahata.
Biography[]
Gilza was summoned to Earth by Satan Goss after his son and heir Mad Gallant was killed in battle against Juspion. Gilza performed a ritual on the pieces of Mad Gallant's body to revive him and successfully restored him to life.
Gilza would later make an attempt to steal a piece of the Galactic Bible from the galactic sage Ejin. She came across Ejin as he was fleeing with Anri and Miya but after she stole the piece from him, Ejin destroyed it to prevent the Megabeast Empire from being able to decipher it.
After Satan Gorth captured, Gilza requested to read his mind to obtain information on the pieces of the Galactic Bible. Satan Goss had already read Ejin's mind and found that the Golden Bird the Megabeast Empire sought after was split between five children, but Gilza sought to delve into his mind to see if he was hiding anything else. Gilza performed a ritual to peek into Ejin's mind and read his thoughts, but Ejin resisted it and managed to repel Gilza with his willpower. Not done just yet, Gilza attempted to read Ejin's mind again only for Juspion to suddenly burst through the wall and rescue Ejin before taking off.
After it was learned that the pieces of the Golden Bird lay within five children, one of whom was unborn, Gilza and Mad Gallant led a group of soldiers to hunt down the children. They were able to locate a village where one of the children was believed to be abd began rounding up all the children in the village and inspecting them to see if any of them held the Golden Bird within them, but none of them showed signs of being touched by it.
It was then noticed that a girl named Kumiko and her mother had managed to sneak away, leading the Mad Gallant Army to go after her. As they were fleeing, Kumiko's mother slipped and hurt herself, but she was rescued by Juspion after Kumiko found him and got his help. However, Kumiko was taken by Mad Gallant's soldiers. While Kumiko's mother recovered in a hospital, Juspion went to save Kumiko and the other children that had been taken by the Mad Gallant Army.
As Juspion was rescuing them however, Gilza led a group of Mad Gallant soldiers into the hospital, where they tied up Kumiko's mother and the hospital staff before disguising themselves as them to ambush Juspion when he returned. After Juspion saved the children and returned with Kumiko to check up on her mother, Gilza revealed her disguise and summoned soldiers of the Mad Gallant Army to attack them. While Juspion fought them off, Gilza kidnapped Kumiko and attempted to escape with her, but Juspion pursued her. With help from Kumiko and her telepathic abilities, Juspion was able to defeat Gilza.
