Giranbo (ギランボ) is a minor antagonist in Ultraman Tiga. She first appeared in episode "On Halloween Night" as the main antagonist.
Biography[]
On Halloween night, GUTS picked up a strong magnetic field. The team has to wore a costume for Halloween to continue investigate. During the investigation, one of the members Daigo and Rena encountered an old woman with a witch costume selling lollipop for children. Daigo wanted to buy one but he cannot since he is an adult. However, he saw that her custome doesn't move in the mirror reflection. As Daigo started at her, she had no choice but to run away while Daigo went to chase her.
After the chase, Daigo encountered a spooky house. When he entered the house, Daigo searched for her until he went to the door with a light inside. He then arrived at the strange playground where he met the children with pale faces. After they run away from him, Daigo saw her in a giant monster form. Before Daigo can shoot her, she uses her teleport ray on him.
According to Yazumi, several children had gone missing since the Halloween on last year. Meanwhile, Daigo was trapped inside a plastic tube where he lost his gun and Spark Lens. Giranbo arrived in her witch disguise where she consumed the dream from a boy. Giranbo explained that she has consumed children's dreams and sent them to Dream Graveyard. She then tried to kill Daigo with a gas inside the plastic tube so he could die from suffocation.
However, GUTS picked up a distorted strong magnetic field. At the night, Giranbo lured many children into her giant Jack-o-Lantern to get them to dream world. When the team had to get the children away from her, she told the children that adults are enemies right before she got shot. When the giant Jack-o-Lantern was about to submerged to the underground, Daigo managed to escaped from the plastic tube and got the Plasma Spark back on his hand. However, Daigo transformed to Ultraman Tiga and pulled the Jack-o-Lantern from the ground. After she escaped, she was enraged that Tiga had foiled her plans and transformed into a giant monster to fought him. When they fight, she managed to teleport herself to avoid Tiga's attack before she cloned herself to torture him. With no other choice, Tiga used Timer Flash to vanish her clones before he sent her flying and destroyed her.
