Gird is a minor antagonist from Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade, Foolhardy Waywardness campaign, one of the main protagonist from Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade, Festival of Life campaign. She was a barbarian battle mage, one of Kilgor's lieutenants and minions.
Biography[]
All that is known about Gird's past is that she acquired knowledge and magical power from the shaman of her home village and would have taken her place, but the mages of the barbarian kingdom of Krewlod took her away as a child. By the time she was older, she had become a battlemage, but she didn't stay in Krewlod and she wanted to go her own way. At first she served a barbarian warlord, Barshon, but a legendary barbarian warrior, Crag Hack, defeated her and killed the warlord. Later, she tried to capture a rocky island, but she was not the only one, because a gnoll, Alkin, a barbarian warlord, Krellion, and an adventurer knight, Sir Christian, also wanted to gain glory and victory on the island. In the end, the knight defeated them all, but Gird did not die, but did not try to take the island again, so she left it and returned to Krewlod.
She caught the attention of a cruel and brutal barbarian behemoth hunter, Kilgor, who wanted to claim Krewlod's throne, so she and two other barbarians, Gurnisson and Oris, joined him. The four of them and their armies almost completely exterminated everything and everyone in a rocky, swampy and forested area, and then they also fought with the rival houses, and in the end they were completely victorious. Eventually, after Kilgor killed the king, Winston Boragus, he became the new ruler of Krewlod, and his lieutenants, including Gird, gained power and influence. She was not seen again after the Reckoning, so it is likely that she perished then.
