| ~ Tricephalos Expedition description. |
Gladius, Beast of Night, also known as the Tricephalos, is a major antagonist of Elden Ring Nightreign. It is a Nightlord in the form of a large, three-headed, many-legged wolf, carrying a large sword on its back.
History[]
Gladius was originally a pup from a pack of wolves. Its peers had driven it away, due to being born with three heads. Despite this, Gladius continued to live on its own.
Down the line, after a rainswept night, Gladius confronted a man and seized his sword from him. The man however did not fear Gladius and instead took it under its care. Since then, Gladius remained by the man's side to the very end, carrying his sword in remembrance.
