Protectorate Gleb is a supporting antagonist in the 2017 video game Star Wars Battlefront II. She is a high-ranking agent of the Galactic Empire in charge of training fanatically loyal soldiers. After the Empire's defeat, she leads J-Sec, an ally of the First Order.
Gleb was the headmistress of the Future Imperial Leaders school on Vardos, where she indoctrinated many children into the Empire's propaganda. Basically, she taught them that the Empire was strong and that strength was greatness, brainwashing them into becoming fanatically loyal to the emperor. Her students included future Special Forces operatives Iden Versio and Gideon Hask.
After the emperor's death, Admiral Garrick Versio ordered the destruction of Vardos as part of Operation: Cinder, and deployed Iden, Hask and Del Meeko to extract Gleb. They reached Gleb without trouble, and prepared to escort her and her Rodian assistant to their ship, the Corvus. However, Iden allowed several civilians to evacuate to the Corvus, going against their orders and leading to a standoff which ended in Iden shooting Hask in the leg. Iden and Del then escaped in the Corvus, but Hask was able to escape with Gleb on one of the other ships.
Following the Empire's defeat, Gleb lead Jinata Security, and allied herself with the Empire's successor, the First Order. As leader of J-Sec, she assisted the First Order in Project Resurrection, a program which consisted of J-Sec kidnapping children and conscripting them into the First Order. She also captured Del and delivered him to the First Order, where he was tortured by Kylo Ren and executed by Hask, who now worked for the First Order. Gleb had her men bury the corpse, but left the Corvus intact in order to lead Iden to Pillio.
Soon after, Iden, her daughter Zay and their ally Shriv investigated Project Resurrection and discovered Gleb's involvement from a J-Sec agent named Leema Kai. Tracking Gleb to the decimated remains of Vardos, Iden and Shriv proceeded to the J-Sec headquarters to arrest her. Upon arriving they only found Gleb's corpse, as she had been executed by the First Order for allowing the existence of Project Resurrection to be discovered.
