Gleipnir is the secondary antagonist of the manga/anime series Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts. He is the servant and right-hand man of Fenrir.
He is voiced by Masaaki Mizunaka (who also voiced Kakeru Ryūen from Classroom of the Elite) and as child, he was voiced by Ayaka Asai in the Japanese version of the anime and Xan Cramer and as child, he is voiced by Danielle Yoshiko Phillips in the English version of the anime.
He is played by Gaku Matsuda in 2024 stage adaptation.
Appearance[]
Gleipnir is a wolf-like beast with black fur, brown muzzle and chest, and white blank eyes with a scar on his left eye, rivaling Fenrir's height.

Background[]
As a child, he was originally a slave as Number 36-2, Fenrir wanted him as his servant and gave him his own name as "Gleipnir". After Fenrir lost his ear and being exiled, Gleipnir was going to cut one of his ear and Fenrir stops Nir from cutting his ear which slash his eye as scar by accident. Gleipnir says if Fenrir wants ear, he will give him his ear and everything, Gleipnir begs Fenrir to stay with him.
Plot[]
At Maasya, rebels beastkinds planning to plot against the king, then Gleipnir comes and says they have just been conscripted to service the new "King".
The Anti-Monarchist celebrate their victory to beat troops of Ozmargo while Gleipnir looks at the groups and says that he will leave place to them and make a trip back to the castle where his King is awaits.
After stops Timul, Sariphi and others leaves Bolstobas to return to Ozmargo. The Istan navy patrols tells to halt since their vessel is not granted permission to sail, if they do not heeled the orders, they will attack ship and Gleipnir looks at black winged Holy Beast flying around the sky and see his King jumps on to kills two Istan soldiers.
Gleipnir suddenly stabs Fenrir in the back in the front of Leonhart and escapes with his corpse. After Fenrir's death, Gleipnir carries Fenrir's corpse and remembers how Fenrir left standing orders to kill him if he lost the duel, then asks what to do since Fenrir was his only reason for living.
