Glenderin Esstente is a major antagonist from Fantasy Wars. He was the head of the high council of the elves of Quendaylon who was possessed by the demon Farrakh, so he became one of his most important minions.
Biography[]
Glenderin was an elven mage who demonstrated his great magical powers early on, as he was the one who encased the legendary demon lord, Farrakh's body in a magical sarcophagus. After Saint General Marcus defeated the demon at the cost of his life, the elven mage began to study the monster's sword, which was a dark artifact, and through it the demon possessed him and controlled his body and mind. Now as a pawn of the demon, Glenderin first gave a quest to an elven woman, Teya Essente, who was the last dragonspeaker. In the winter of 631 a.M.v., he had to go to the territory of the hordes of the Verks Wastes, where he had to leave a strange staff and a red drum in a stone circle. After completing her mission, she rescued a dwarf, Dwarnrock and met an engineer who told him that he had come to the area on the orders of the elven council to teach the goblins how to build watermills, sawmills and water pumps to revive life in the wastelands. Teya wondered why the council would give such an order to someone, and after he was safely transported to the engineer's camp, Glenderin appeared and told the elf woman to leave the area as she had done her job and not to worry about the engineer. others will take care of it. In fact, he went there to enchant the shaman staff that Teya brought to the stone circle, which he gave to the first orc hexer, Ash-hoon, and then Farrakh's power through the staff convinced him to side with them and receive great power in return. to get.
In the autumn of 632 a.M.v., Glenderin told Teya to go with her warriors to the mountains of Ofris and bring him the key to Farrahk's sarcophagus. Dwarnrock was also with her, but he was very uneasy, because with this act he had to break the oath of his ancestors and he believed that the elven council had to present a very strong reason for this. The mountains were full of goblins and the key was guarded by golems, but after defeating the monsters, Teya and Dwarnrock took the key, which was a magical orb, to Glenderin. He then grabbed the orb and made it disappear, but now the dwarf wanted answers as to why the elves' council was so actively helping the horde and what their goal was. The elf then answered mockingly and contemptuously to the dwarf, who was not afraid of him and demanded that he explain why he had to break his oath and why he needed the key. Then he told to his fire guards that Teya was a traitor who had brought enemies among them, then he took out Farrakh's sword and ordered to kill them both. The dragonspeaker and the dwarf escaped in time, and the woman then realized that the demon possessed the elven mage and was following his orders and they must stop him.
Glenderin appeared in the spring of 633 a.M.v., protecting As-hoon at the Battle of Sylent, when the main leader of the human army, marshal Derrick Pfeil, and his two companions, Master Alfred Brennock and Father Dexter wanted to defeat the horde once and for all. The elven mage created a dark purple magical shield around the hexer who successfully attacked with his spells and it looked like they were going to win until Teya was able to wipe them both out with one spell. In the summer, the two then returned to Verson that overrun by the horde, where Glenderin unleashed Farrakh's power. He created a huge, dark citadel called Sumgan, which means evil place, then the elves he brought and the knights who remained in the area began to be infected by the demon's power and became possessed, infernal warriors who killed anyone who was not a servant of Farrakh. As-hoon was killed by Ugraum Grableg in revenge for betraying him and taking control of the horde and with him the key is also destroyed, so Glenderin wanted to open the demon's sarcophagus with his own magical power and successfully broke the first seal in a short time. The humans, elves and dwarves fought together against the armies of the possessed and killed many of them, but unfortunately it was too late as the sarcophagus was finally opened by Glenderin and Farrakh returned to his original body, then killed the elf mage and used his sword again. The demon locked his body and soul in a crystal and was able to use his power through it, but the heroes destroyed the crystal, freeing Glenderin for good, his body disappeared, and Derrick Pfeil finally defeated Farrakh and destroyed his sword, so no one could be possessed by the demon's power through it.
Personality[]
It is certain that Glenderin was a highly respected person. However, after Farrakh's possession, he became a dark, evil, scornful person who became completely enslaved by the demon and only acted as the monsters saw fit.
Powers and abilities[]
Even as the head of the high council, Glenderin had very strong magical powers, the elves mentioned his power several times and that he could perform most of the spells. He was able to create a magical shield that even masters or experienced magic users couldn't break through, he created a huge demonic citadel and he was also able to break magical seals. In addition, it is likely that he was also capable of vitakinesis, i.e. healing himself and others, since Farrakh could only use this ability through his body and soul.
