As the violence surges and the teeming masses have been terrorized, the human predators all gone mad are reaping profits born from their demise. The rabid media plays their roles, stoking the flames of war to no surprise; only too eager to sell their souls, for the apocalypse must be televised!
~ Lyrics to "The Vengeful One".
OBEY. FEAR. KILL. BURN. SHOP.
~ Global Warfare Manufacturing's Message.

Global Warfare Manufacturing are the main antagonists of the 2015 song "The Vengeful One" by the metal band Disturbed. They are a corrupt, warmongering organization that propagates fear, hate and violence to corrupt the populace so they may profit off the conflict.

Biography[]

It is unknown when Global Warfare Manufacturing rose to power, but they seemingly control most of the world as well as have a monopoly on television programming, including news outlets. Using mechanically modified news anchors, they continually broadcast stories of war and violent conflict on every station, glorifying the actions. Additionally, they only allow violent television programming to air, which has added subliminal messages telling viewers to be afraid and angry. This process mentally and physically transforms viewers into horned, demon-like creatures that are violent enough to attack their own families. After the populace is corrupted and begins waging war on itself, Global Warfare Manufacturing profits from the anarchy and chaos and encourages more people to be violent and afraid.

The world, under Global Warfare Manufacturing's control, becomes so corrupt that the titular character, The Vengeful One, sees how corrupt the world has become and travels down to Earth to fight Global Warfare Manufacturing. GWM is broadcasting its corrupting programming when a young intern named Hope walks in on the Master Control office.

The Vengeful One breaks into the company's headquarters and begins destroying it, starting with throwing a grenade into the news room. He guns down the news anchors, then makes his way to Master Control to find the employees cannibalizing Hope's corpse. They see him and attack, and the Vengeful one kills each one. A stronger employee (possibly a higher-ranking individual) attacks and begins to beat the Vengeful One with pyrokenesis, but the Vengeful One soon regains the upper hand and uses energy to blast the strong employee out of the skyscraper and into the blades of a passing helicopter. The Vengeful One then breaks the camera-covered energy core of the building off and throws it into the sun, destroying it and stopping the broadcast. He rides away, shooting down GWM satellites as he leaves.
