The Glue Jamen is one of two main antagonist (the other is a Glue Shellga) in episode 20 of 2020 TV series called Mashin Sentai Kiramager. He is a Red Body Glue-themed Jamenshi of Dark Empire Yodonheim whose dark energy was used to release the Glue Shellga.
He is voiced by Shōta Hayama.
History[]
The Glue Jamen made his first appearance as he use his sticky ability to trap some civilians to random objects.
After the intro the team showed up as more civilians have been stuck to more objects (like that man who's trapped on his bike). He revealed his powers to the rangers as he used glue like head to stick a recycling bin onto the woman's back. He thinks it romantic, but to the team it just plain nonsense, so with that said the team transform and battle the Glue Jamen. However during the fight all of the teams weapons have been stuck thus rendering them useless until that guy is defeated.
However as this goes on one of Juru's classmate named Mizuki Kakihara notice destruction of the Glue Jamen's stickiness as she too spotted the monster that done this catastrophe. So the Glue Jamen tossed a sticky manhole cover at her, but Juru sacrificed himself to save her and now their stuck together until this guy is defeated once and for all. However the team manages to block his nozzle to rendering him from firing any of his glue which by then he retreats from the fight until he get that disk removed from his nozzle.
A while later he'd manage to dislodged the disk from his nozzle as this scenario is being watched by the generals from Yodonheim. With that said he's ready for round two as he manage to stick Sena onto a desk and Sayon into a fridge and as for Shiguru well since he cut bag that's filled with glue he was stuck to a mannequin thus leaving only Tametomo and Takamichi left in this fight to defeat the Glue Jamen. As this goes on the stuck Juru arrived to join the fight and with Mizuki's help he uniquely transformed and manage to dodge a sticky canister.
A while later they consult together to come up with a plan, so to begin this plan of theirs Juru and his classmate began to taunt the Glue Jamen causing him to be so mad that he started chasing the duo down the alley while dodging his glue attack, but at least he'd manage to land a hit with a sticky Bechat. However he was then fell to the teams trap as he was then destroyed by a junk hammer thus freeing everyone from the Glue Jamen's stickiness.
Trivia[]
- Glue Jamen (along with his Jamen Beast counterpart) is the first Glue-themed monster since Mochibetori from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.
- He is also the first Glue-themed monster to be based on a tube of glue since Adhesive Cockroach from Choujin Sentai Jetman.
- Glue Jamen is the 2nd Jamen Beast to share the same theme with its Jamen Beast counterpart (The first being Vise Jamen and Vise Shellga).
- Interestingly, both of these pairs contain a Red Body Jamenshi and a Shellga-Type Jamen Beast.
