Glutinous is a major antagonist in Season 14: Seabound in LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, as well as a minor character in Season 15: Crystalized. He is a male Merlopian scientist whose job was to create a storm Amulet that would allow Wojira to be awakened, but later he came to warn Ninjas about waking up Wojira when Kalmaar found the right Storm Amulet.
He is voiced by Samuel Vincent.
Biography[]
When Glutinous served as a scientist in Merlopia, Kalmaar wanted him to create a Storm Amulet to awaken Wojira. And no matter how he tried, tried, and tried, not every Storm Amulet he created could awaken Wojira. Later, after Kalmaar killed his own father and, by lie, became King of Merlopia, he managed to find the Island of the Guards, where the real Storm Amulet was held. After Kalmaar went to get the Storm Amulet, and returned with it to Wojira's temple, he was there when Kalmaar arrived, and he wanted the amulet to be tested first, but Kalmaar put the amulet directly on Wojira's head, and Wojira woke up. Shortly after Wojira was awakened, he left for Ninjago to warn Ninjas about it, and upon arriving at Ninjago Harbor, he met a coast guard who told him he wanted to meet Ninjas, and for that he was taken to the Ninjago City Police Station to wait for Ninjas. And when the Ninjas arrived at the police station to meet him, he told them all about how Kalmaar cheated on them with a facsimile and about waking up Wojira, and he said that the reason he told it all to the Ninjas was when he saw Wojira's full power, he began to think, perhaps, he had made some poor career choices. And as the Ninjas prepared to face Wojira, he stayed at the police station.
Personality[]
Glutinous is a very nervous and frightened Merlopian that has great respect for his master, Kalmaar. His movement is almost always unnatural and often twitches. Kalmaar was aware of his weakness and fear, so he used it to his advantage and constantly insulted him. However, this later paid off, as Glutinous reformed after waking Wojira and decided to help the ninja by going to warn them. He also has an obvious fondness for coffee.
