Gluttony is a major antagonist in the 2018 video game Darksiders III. He was a powerful kraken and member of the Seven Deadly Sins, him representing the sin of gluttony.

He was voiced by Fred Tatasciore.

Personality

Gluttony was, as his name would suggest, a creature with an endless hunger that never can be satisfied. The more he consumes, the more he craves, which makes the kraken devour anything and anyone he comes across. He is a boastful and psychotic individual who even cruelly taunted Fury about how he ate the corpse of her horse, Rampage.

Biography

Past

Gluttony once roamed the world alongside his fellow sins before they were all captured and imprisoned by the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. Gluttony and the others were imprisoned for centuries, wanting revenge on the ones who imprisoned them.

Darksiders III

After having been imprisoned for centuries, the Charred Council turned the sins loose and they wasted no time and started ravaging the Earth. Gluttony began to devour anything in his path, be it Angel, Demon or Human, and he even ate the corpse of Fury's horse, Rampage.

Gluttony was one of the few sins Furry fought twice, once on her road to defeat Lust, and then in his own battle. Gluttony and Fury fought underwater in a great battle which ended when Fury used magical sea mines to blow the leviathan up from the inside, killing him.

• Gluttony is the first, and currently only, Darksiders boss to have their boss fight underwater.
