The Goddess of Naps is a supporting antagonist turned hero in the Backyardigans episode, "Match on Mt. Olympus". She is played by Uniqua.
Biography[]
Pablo and Tyrone accidentally came across the Goddess of Naps on their way to talk to the Goddess of Weather. They were extremely quiet but still accidentally woke her up. She got angry and forced Tyrone to sleep, presumably willingly to keep him like that forever. Pablo escaped and gave her an offering; a basketball. The Goddess of Naps got Tyrone out of his state of perpetual sleep and the two mortals taught her how to play basketball. This eased her wrath, and she told them that meeting the Goddess of Weather is a bad idea because of how she's constantly busy, never taking a break. Later, when the two have confronted her, she shows up alongside the God of Laughter to help them beat her in a game of basketball to prevent it from raining forever. They succeeded, but the gods all fell through to the Earth, where the Goddess of Weather made it stop raining.
