The Gods of Mt. Olympus are the villains from the Backyardigans episode, "Match on Mt. Olympus".
Biography[]
It is implied that the gods have existed for a very long time before the episode, controlling the world and making the mortals fear them.
During the episode, the Goddess of Weather makes it rain in Ancient Greece. Two mortals, Pablo and Tyrone, scale Mt. Olympus to ask her to make it stop. Along the way, they encounter and are subsequently tormented by the other gods, the God of Laughter and the Goddess of Naps. They appease them with basketballs, and make it to the Goddess of Weather. They challenge her to a game of basketball. If they win, the rain has to stop. If she wins, the rain will never stop. The other two gods team up with Pablo and Tyrone to defeat the Goddess of Weather, succeeding. They all fall to Earth, where the rain stops.
