The Gold Warlock is a phantom thief known for stealing gold and the antagonist of episode 2 of The Kagestar. He dresses like a military officer and his combatmen all dress like military commandos.
Biography[]
Gold Warlock infiltrated a museum disguised as its director to steal the gold artifacts it contained. After incapacitating the guards with his pet snake, the Gold Warlock made off with all the gold, leaving the guards thinking that the director was responsible. Luckily, President Kazamura was able to prove the Gold Warlock's innocence by providing him with an alibi, that the two were having dinner the night the theft happened.
The Gold Warlock later hatched a plan to steal gold from the Yokuno estate by having his combatants dig a tunnel. After the tunnel was finished, the Gold Warlock and his minions started stealing all the gold. Despite Kagestar's attempt to foil their robbery, the Gold Warlock was able to successfully steal the gold and kidnap the estate secretary. Upon returning to his base however, the Gold Warlock discovered that the gold he had stolen was fake and demanded that the secretary tell him the real location of the gold. He later gave a televised broadcast demanding that Yokuno hand over his gold or he would throw the secretary in his smelting furnace.
As Yokuno had extra security installed around his estate for if the Gold Warlock came back, the Gold Warlock took advantage of this by having his men disguise themselves as construction workers and steal the gold under the cover of installing the new security system. Kageoh caught on to the Gold Warlock's scheme however and leapt onto the combatants' truck before it drove away, allowing him to follow them to the Gold Warlock's secret base. As he attempted to sneak in however, Kageoh was captured by Gold Warlock's men.
After stealing Yokuno's gold, Gold Warlock left a note telling Yokuno that his secretary would die. However, Kageoh managed to escape and transformed into Kagestar to stop Gold Warlock. As Kagestar freed the secretary, Gold Warlock had all his gold loaded into a pickup truck before fleeing to smuggle it abroad. He was pursued by Bellestar in the BelleCar and by the police, leading him to decide to lure them to his hideout so he could deal with them there. After arriving back at his hideout, Gold Warlock donned a snake helmet and sent his men to deal with Bellestar and the police. Bellestar was able to fight Gold Warlock's combatants at first but was eventually overwhelmed, at which point Kagestar showed up to assist his partner. As the two fought off the grunts, Gold Warlock threw his helmet and snake at the pair to distract them while he loaded up the remaining gold. Once all the gold was in his truck, Gold Warlock shot and killed all his remaining minions so the gold would be all his. As he attempted to drive off however, his truck was halted by Kagestar using his shadow. Gold Warlock then attempted to flee on foot but was cornered by Kagestar, who was promptly joined by Bellestar after she defeated the remaining henchmen of Gold Warlock. Gold Warlock attempted to fight the pair, but was easily defeated and arrested by the police.
