Golden Bat is a Destructoid of the DARK organization and an antagonist in episode 15 of Android Kikaider.
He is voiced by the late Hiroshi Masuoka, who previously voiced Orange Ant and Gold Wolf, and later voiced Sun Halo Mask and Navigator Gator in the Super Sentai franchise.
Biography[]
Golden Bat practiced his skills by battling Test Kikaider.
He later embarked on a mission to destroy Jiro's conscience circuit, making him susceptible to return to DARK. To do so, he disguised himself as Taro Komyoji, the deceased first son of the Komyoji family, to get close to Mitsuko and Masaru. While the two believed he was the real Taro, Jiro remained suspicious, leading "Taro" to offer to lead him to Golden Bat's location in order to gain his trust. While everyone was asleep and Jiro was powered down however, Golden Bat stole Jiro's blueprints and used them to locate Jiro's conscience circuit and remove it. However, Jiro then awoke and revealed the blueprints Golden Bat had taken were fakes and what he had removed was a decoy circuit. Golden Bat then revealed himself and how he had impersonated Taro, before Jiro became Kikaider to battle him. Golden Bat was destroyed by Kikaider with his Denji End attack.
