The Golem Soldiers were the golem and statue-themed footsoldiers of the Bandora Gang and recurring antagonists in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. Although they usually serve as minor antagonists in the series, serving only as minor threats before the Dora Monsters, a group of them serve as major antagonists in the 46th episode.
Biographies[]
Past[]
After Bandora turned into a genocidal psychopath after Kai's death, she and the Fairy Tribe reform into the Bandora Gang and waged a war against humanity. They were created by Pleprechuan, who sculpted them from clay and brought them to life by baking them in the Nendora Machine. They come in two types: the standard Golems and tougher, armored "Captain Golems" which acted as commanders. However, all of them were destroyed and no more were created for 65 million years as the Bandora Gang were sealed away in a dumpster.
Zyuranger[]
However, in 1992, Bandora and her forces are released by astronauts that are sent to explore Nemesis when it appears near the Milky Way. Killing the adult astronauts as her way of thanks, Bandora has Pleprechaun create a new army of Golem Soldiers to assist Grifforzer in thier next attack on Earth. However, five new warriors from prehistoric times are resurrected to become the Zyurangers and easily defeat this initial attack. From this point onwards, Bandora begins sending down Dora Monsters to attack the planet with Golem Soldiers often acting as support but this fails every time. When the Bandora Gang discover an underground supply of Dokitta clay, they begin using it to create the more powerful and nigh-indestructible Dokiita Golems. To deal with the new Golems, Geki and Burai go on a mission to obtain the Thunder Slingers, powerful weapons that can destroy the Dokitta Golems.
The final five Golem Soldiers to be created are used alongside Dora Mirage as part of a plan to pose as the Zyurangers and turn the public against them. Although they are initially successful, they are easily defeated so Bandora abandons her random schemes and summons Dai Satan back to Earth for the final battle. With the Bandora Gang getting sealed away soon after, and the Nendora Machine ceasing to exist with the rest of the Bandora Palace due to her magic being gone, no more Golen Soldiers can be produced. The Golem Soldiers that assisted Lamie during the Mirror of Havoc scheme are recalled by Mei as she and the other Zyurangers travel to Heaven with Barza after sealing away the Bandora Gang once again.
Kakuranger[]
Two years later, some Golem Soldiers are among the army of past Sentai footsoldiers summoned by Zaigan to assist in Emperor Daidas' invasion of Earth, alongside some Batzler Soldiers, Grinam Soldiers, Cotpotros and Dorodoros. They are initially successful against the Kakurangers but are soon overwhelmed and wiped out when four other Sentai including the Zyurangers arrive to help.
Gaoranger vs Super Sentai[]
The Golem Soldiers that aided Grifforzer in fighting Burai during his final hours are recalled by Gouki of the Gingamen to Sotaro Ushi of the Gaorangers when he tells of the past fights that other Sentai have had after Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa makes him lose hope.
Gokaiger[]
Several Golem Soldiers are part of an army of past enemy grunts fought by the Gokaigers in Los Dark's ghost dimension which houses the 1500 spirits of the villains defeated by the Super Sentai. After losing some of their number in an initial skirmish, the remaining members from each grunt group merged to form the Combined Combatant. Though the stronger opponent, the Combined Combatant proves to be unstable due to internal conflicting among the grunts composing him over who got to finish the pirates off. Taking advantage, the Gokaigers use the Battle Fever J Ranger Keys to destroy the Combined Combatant with the Penta Force cannon.
Kyoryuger[]
An army of Golem Soldiers are later revived by Space War God Borudosu to serve in his army and invade Earth. Led by Neo-Grifforzer, they team up with the revived Barmia Soldiers led by Neo-Geildon along with the Buglars led by Enter and Escape and the Zorima of the Deboth Army to battle against the Kyoryugers and Go-Busters but are all wiped out.
Zenkaiger[]
A group of Golem Soldiers are among the villains revived by Super Warumono World to capture the Zenkaigers and remake the Earth as a planet run by villains. They are among the villains led by Super Warumono World to fight the Zenkaigers and Sentai Red. When Super Warumono World is killed, the remaining Golem Soldiers cease to exist.
