They are created by Pleprechuan, who sculpts them from clay and brings them to life by baking them in the Nendora Machine. They come in two types: the standard Golems and tougher, armored "Captain Golems".

To deal with the new Golems, Geki and Burai went on a mission to obtain the Thunder Slingers, powerful weapons that could destroy the Dokitta Golems.

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger The Movie: The Flying Ghost Ship
Several Golem Soldiers were part of the army of past enemy grunts encountered by the Gokaigers in Los Dark's ghost ship. They later all merged to become the Combined Combatant and destroy the Gokaigers, but were distracted by squabbling over who would get to finish the Gokaigers off. Taking advantage of this, the Gokaigers were able to destroy them all with the Penta Force Cannon.

The Golem Soldiers were later revived by Space War God Borudosu to serve in his army and invade Earth. Led by Neo-Grifforzer., they teamed up with the revived Barmia Soldiers led by Neo-Geildon along with the Buglars led by Enter and Escape and the Zorima of the Deboth Army to battle against the Kyoryugers and Go-Busters.
